MLB has been great lately adding these rules. The pitch clock has been great and seamless along with other game shortening rules.

This one seems a reach.

They would be better off with mound visits from the coach and you can only replace the pitcher between innings.

Also I haven't watched since they called everyone racist so I have no idea how the product is.

I hate the “bullpen game” phenomenon that has caught on in the last 10 years. 100 pitch cap and four earned runs makes this idea more palatable for me.

Manfred and company are really trying to ruin the entity of Major League Baseball…. Pretty much every recent rule change has been awful, so might as well continue on with some more…

That type rule would ignore the changes in the way pitchers are trained now. When I first started being around ballparks I can remember seeing Mark Wohlers in AA and how I’d heard of this guy hitting 100 and here he was. It was a novelty, way back in 1991. Look now how many guys hit that mark.  But the same is true for starters, the modern game is all about velo. It creates more physical strain and injuries.

Currently in the NHL, 90 percent of players and officials are white, and 83 percent out of the whole league is white.
