It’s both. He’s doing bad things but he’s doing them badly.

(FTR, Trump is not close to the most racist President in history. Post Civil War-slaveowners don’t count- that would have to be Woodrow Wilson. Trump IS racist but nowhere near that racist. As for most unfit, I would say yeah a good case can be made for Trump.)

Well I'd ask which is it then.  He is either doing bad things in the view from the left, by deporting more illegal immigrants than Biden, or he's deporting fewer and therefore is in their argument a fraud.  There is no coherent argument to make in tandem because to claim both can't be reality.

In my opinion the numbers say that the truth is that he has deported less per day than Biden so far, but has significantly curtailed illegal entries to a trickle, therefore reducing the numbers of deportations needed to reduce the net numbers of illegal immigrants in the country.  I'd also further say if one wants to make it about race, he's actually focusing on the criminal element rather than random selections to this point.  That would tell me it isn't at all about race but trying to eliminate the violent elements.  The argument that innocents are getting swept up in these raids are largely people who are living in the same households with these folks, so it's a necessary situation.  That's not to say ICE won't expand these operations in the future, but the numbers now are what they are.

FDR put American citizens in interment camps because of their race.  You would think he could at least warrant a mention.

It was certainly one of the worst acts in American history.

Why is that?

Is this is a serious question? Do you know any Japanese Americans with family that were interned then? I do. They lost everything.

Remember the Guantanamo plan? Trump, embarrassed that it wasn’t working (because it was pointless) abruptly killed it:

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/20/us/politics/guantanamo-venezuelans-trump-migrants.html

That's not what it was dumbasss.  They moved them all to Venezuela.  That's the plan idiot, they don't stay there forever.  How the fok do you get "killed" Guantanamo plans from that article.  And why do you pay for that chit?

Trump was bragging about and the use of Guantanamo today in his CPAC speech. The transfer to Venezuela was Thursday.

178 douchbags sent back to Venezuela.  That's the plan working.

Meanwhile army doctors deployed to Guantanamo for extended stay. More troops deployed.  You think Trump shut it down.  You literally made that up in your head.....or you can explain where the article or any report says it's shut down. You can't.  Seek help, you have serious mental issues.

Dude. It was abruptly emptied. Because putting them there was stupid to begin with. I don’t think even the Trump people are asinine enough to start this up again after that embarrassment. Which is why I wrote it was shut down. If they ARE dumb enough you can come in and brag about how the folks you voted for are as moronic as you are. Congrats

I am satisfied with the pursuit and impact so far.

I do want to keep the pressure on, the criminals that were allowed in MUST be removed. The American people deserve to be protected.

Excellent. They are deporting quicker than I thought. Keep rounding them up, send them there, kick them out to make room for the next batch of illegals. Winning.

Instead of fighting fires and taking care of victims, the state of California is spending $9 billion to defend illegals against Trump.

It’s not instead of. It’s along with. Both are very important goals and supported by the taxpayers of this state.

You don't know that because you don't have a crystal ball of what might have happened if they weren't interned!

Who knows how many terrorists were in that group with intentions of blowing up citiies, naval bases, infrastructure etc...

What happens if they would have prevented the Manhatten Project?  The whole outcome of the war would be different!

You can't say it was a mistake because you don't know what could have happened if they were left to freely roam around the country.  It's possible they could have changed the outcome of the war and GERMANY/JAPAN would have been the victors!

The court’s 5-4 ruling Monday night requires those challenging Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to rely on a complicated and rarely successful legal process known as habeas corpus, and to potentially file those claims in some of the most conservative federal courts in the nation.

Yeah baby.

In a Monday evening ruling, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to resume the removals of Venezuelan migrants accused of being members of the Tren de Aragua gang under the unprecedented use of the wartime Alien Enemies Act. The decision, lifting a district court’s temporary restraining order halting the removals, was 5-4, with Justice Amy Coney Barrett joining the Democratic appointees in dissent.

Get'em outta here!

WASHINGTON, Feb 21 - U.S. President Donald Trump deported 37,660 people during his first month in office, previously unpublished U.S. Department of Homeland Security data show, far less than the monthly average of 57,000 removals and returns in the last full year of Joe Biden's administration.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-set-broaden-arrests-deportation-routes-expand-immigration-crackdown-2025-02-21/

Tom Homan asserts that the ICE arrests and removals under the Trump administration are "far beyond" those under the Biden administration. He dismisses reports that the Biden administration deported more people, claiming those numbers include border removals which, according to him, are not the same as ICE deportations.

Public opinion per the latest polling remains in favor of deporting non violent undocumented people, 50-48%. However that number is going down. I think it will eventually go into the negatives. I am guessing the public hasn’t really thought this through and once they do they won’t be for doing this.

Public opinions don't matter in regards to the law. The deportations are upholding/enforcing US law.

So how do you all see this working? Please break it down in reality how this would take place.

Trump has illegals deported because that's what the public voted him in to do, and liberals cause violence all over the country.

Nothing new. Look at it this way, the normals get what we wanted and get the illegals out, and you and your liberal cult get what you wanted by raging violence all over your home town liberal run cities. Now go blame Trump for your insurance premiums and local/city/state taxes going up.

Get rid of them too. What do I care other than getting rid of them.

Seems to me they are prioritizing which to get rid of first. I'm all in. It's a tall task after obama and biden.
