A now-fired Missouri math teacher who admitted having rough sex with a 16-year-old student while others served as her “lookouts” may only have to spend three months behind bars if she goes through sex rehab. 

Divorced mom of two Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, was sentenced Friday to four years in prison — but with most of it being suspended if she completes a rehabilitation program for sex offenders, KJLU reported. 

Circuit Judge John Beger said he would check on her progress in rehab in three months — and release the disgraced teacher on probation if she has done well.

The sweetheart deal was reached in September when Clifton-Carmack pleaded guilty to sexual contact with a student — allowing her to avoid other more serious initial charges, including statutory rape, child molestation and child endangerment.

The Laquey High School math teacher was arrested in January after a student reported their illicit relationship to a school resource officer. The witness showed cops a photo of the victim’s scratched-up back, which Clifton-Carmack allegedly mauled when the two had sex in the witness’s driveway.

Clifton-Carmack had previously gotten in trouble with school officials for getting too close to students, the witness told police. 

She initially denied the illegal affair when detectives questioned her in December 2023 — and headed to Texas for the holidays, telling her roommates she was not coming back, the report said.

She was arrested in Texas in January and charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree statutory rape, sexual contact with a student and fourth-degree child molestation.

Prosecutors in Pulaski County file charges against a man for allegedly allowing his 16-year-old son to have sex with his teacher.

According to Prosecutors, Mark Creighton is being charged with endangering the welfare of a child, which could result in three to ten years in state prison, but more charges may follow.

The 16-year-old’s teacher has been identified as 26-year-old Hailey Clifton-Carmack of Waynesville. She was a high school math teacher at Laquey R-5, and she’s facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child, statutory rape, sexual contact with a student, and child molestation.

According to court documents, Clifton-Carmack left Missouri to go to Texas around December 23 and had not returned as of January 3, 2024.

Documents also show that Creighton reportedly knew his son and his son’s teacher were in a sexual relationship, and would use students as lookouts while they had sex in school.

They go on to say that Clifton-Carmack was recently divorced, and that she would will wear “tight or low-cut shirts” to show off her “headlights” and will wear tight leggings that “show off her body,” and that she often got in trouble with the administration for being “too close with students.”
 

Kid seems like he might have been a blabbermouth with his dad knowing . what’s the deal with lookouts? Did pops want to wet his beak ? Too many with knowledge of what’s going on. As a father I hate this but as a high school student I would hope I would be smart enough to keep my mouth shut

The dad looks like typical white trash.  He probably condoned it because he thinks it's cool that his 16 year old kid is schlonging his teacher, plus that the teacher is attractive.

31 states have the age of consent at 16. However it is 17 for Misourri, so it does qualify as statutory rape.

Nevertheless it would still be "sexual contact with a student" and charges should have been brought for that.
