Jets are favored by -1 to -2 in sportsbooks at this time.

Recommended Posts

The NFL is crazy. Pinnacle is -1 and they know know their shiit usually. I usually base some of my early bets in my book based off of what Pinnacle has. Or at least I factor it in.  I may lay off the game but dang, only in the NFL can a 6-2 team be an underdog to a 2-6 team without major injuries happening.

Bookies want equal money on both sides. Jets fans are delusional degenerates.

Also, the Texans are down to their 3rd and 4th string receivers to start.

If you think the majority of money that is bet on these game is on the common nfl Jets fan, you really don't know gambling.

The number is set to get people to bet equal money on both sides and the house takes their guaranteed rake. They set the line as a means to this end.

Jet's defense isn't bad. The Rams were favored last Thursday over the Vikings and I hit them up hard and it paid off.

Contrarian bet situations are interesting. I think people think the Jets will as some point get their shlllt together. But they have proven otherwise so far.

Hmm....what to do.....🤔

I got the Rams as dogs. I'm sure the line shifted after I stopped paying attention.

If the line looks like it's obviously off, then it's probably right.  I would put my money on the Jets.

I've been waiting on the week to put my money on them. But it's only a guessing game for me at this point. They have been so dysfunctional to this point. I've been playing a couple player props the last couple weeks on Hall and Oates. I mean, Hall and Garrett Wilson. :D

I see them at -1 right now. Seattle is a team that's hurtin a bit. Metcalf questionable.

You an me both.  Nice win.

I also took them at +3. Did some in game betting on the Baylor Bears. Had a great week with my only loss being of course, the Jets. That team is a mess but for some stupid reason I keep expecting them to turn it on for once. That team has everything on the line. If they lose this week, they are calling it quits and packing up for the year. If not already.  Rodgers can just retire at that point.

I thought they would win, but figured it would at least be close. So I covered myself on that thinking. Whatever, I don't bet to put food on the table.

I was confused by the part where you said the Rams were favored.  I thought they were dogs the whole time.

If you look at the schedule teams are losing the week after they play the Detroit Lions.

Not sure why Texans arw thought of as this elite team.  Other than handling the Pats, theyve played many close games with mediocre to bad teams.  Got the doors blown off once.  They did beat thr Bills but thr Bills didnt get off the bus and almost came back.

Now they are without Diggs and Collins.  Dell hasnt looked like how he looked early last season.

Jets are a mess but they have to win some games at some point.

Excellent win. Was nervous a bit early and ended up needing that late TD by the Jets, but a win is a win.

I missed the call on that Wilson sick catch. Why was he called in? Looked like he only got 1 foot in.

Shin down inbounds was the call. He didn't need a foot down at all.

I could smell a set up and figured Jets would win but to be safe I live bet it and waited till the Jets got points. I live bet all the prime games and haven't lost one so far. 6 or more point spread difference usually works out in your favor.

The crazy thing is that it was widely publicized that this was huge Pros vs Joes game but money kept pouring in on Jets.

Another strange line for a game pays off again.  The next one is tomorrow's game with Minnesota at Illinois.  Seems odd that MN would be favored away against a ranked team.  MN is the bet though.

all the replays I saw, the espn or whatever had that covered by the banner

sadly Dalton Shultz couldn't keep his second foot in bounds late in the game and that cost me a nice parlay, but it was time to bet the Jets.

he got 1 foot in, then his shin on that leg hit in bounds before the knee ultimately touched out of bounds. His second foot landed in bounds after the knee was out of bounds.

Initial call was incomplete, because of the knee being out before the second foot landed in, but the replay showed the shin fully touching endzone before the knee hit the chalk

foot + shin = 2 feet = butt   etc.

Yep and me and Boston back in 2023 seen weird spreads in the college champ games and both turn out in our favor, TCU got in that year. Why I think even NCAA football is shady at times.
