NFL Week 12

Recommended Posts

Quote

As we make our way into late November, this is the time of the year when weather starts playing a factor in some games week to week. And, it appears that will be the case for the Week 12 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, who will meet at Huntington Bank Field on Thursday night.

According to RotoGrinders meteorologist Kevin Roth, a mix of rain and snow is likely for most, if not all of the contest. On the bright side, Roth adds that wind isn't likely to be a huge factor, although gusts of up to 20 miles per hour are possible.

"It’s going to be a mess in Cleveland tonight for Thursday Night Football," Roth wrote. "I expect a steady mix of rain and snow that lasts most (all?) of the game.

"Wind-wise, things are in better shape," he added "This hourly wind chart shows winds don’t really pick up until overnight tonight. I expect 10-15 mph winds with gusts around 20 mph for the game (slightly higher than this chart shows, but manageable)."

wouldn't mind seeing the Browns steal one here, but need some output from Pickens.

other than maybe MNF, there aren't a ton of games to get too excited about this week.

did I just learn a thing today in that there's a different way to watch the game in Prime?  Am I the only dumass who didn't know this?

I'd like to see the Steelers win that division and force Baltimore to work their way through the AFC playoffs on the road. Playoff-worthy AFC teams have gained valuable experience over the years in how to handle Lamar. Pitt can't be getting bit in the ass and picking up a division loss to the Browns.

Almost kind of glaring how terrible the Watson deal has turned out.   The Browns are probably a playoff team with a competent qb.

Some field goal units costing their team some games today.

Ugly win by the Chiefs but I'll take it.

Love tried his best to hand the 9ers the game, the 9ers weren't interested.

Pathetic effort, everybody has injuries. Buffalo may put them out of their misery next week.

The NFC is falling apart. Detroit is the dominant team?

Nobody in the afc is lighting the world on fire either, maybe Buffalo.

There are teams that will get healthier and hot down the stretch.   Hard to guess who it will be at this point.

Had a good feeling the Rams would take it to Philly today and get the W.... guess not. The Lions don't play Philly so this might have been a good mutual opponent tiebreaker but alas, no.

How do the Giants let X Mckinney and Barkley leave the building in the same offseason when they have limited talent as it is?  Why draft a RB at what 2 overall if you dont care to eventually pay him?

They have become a mess in the front office.

All the players they let walk are having impactful if not downright amazing years.  It hard to understand what the Giants are trying to do over the last few years.

Nabers is good.  But as a rookie hes already yapping.  Hes right. But hes like im sick of losing.  Dude youve been on the team for what 11 games?  Missing like 3?  Youre tired of losing?  Lol.  He will be a problem down the road unless hes getting his stats.

Eagles are the only team with a chance against them.  Unless the 49ers get healthy fast.

I’d say you are correct. They are the only two teams in the whole conference that I would say are competent. The Vikings are a mirage. The rest are easily dismissed.

Agreed. This is the NFC Championship game. The rest don't seem close.
