Gaetz admits sending money to women he never dated, but asked for money

Color me incredulous that someone just sends money to women who ask and that those women just happen to be in the escort business.  I find this to be on the same level of credibility as Biden denying allegations that his family was engaged in influence peddling.  Some things just strain belief well beyond the breaking point and here Gaetz has certainly done just that.

Joe Biden groped little girls, CNN has it on video.  I mean, that wasn't an issue, why is this?  If he committed a crime, prosecute him.

So you agree Joe Biden didn’t commit a crime because he wasn’t prosecuted?

The old “I didn’t pay the underage girl for sex…we just had sex and she needed money for Pokémon cards” defense from Matt Gaetz.

I don't know, I didn't look at any of the documentation.  I'm simply saying that if he did commit a crime then I fully support him being prosecuted.  If he's found guilty, throw him in jail for however long.  Doesn't bother me any.

Depending on Florida's statute of limitations regarding focking a 17-year-old, he could face charges on that.

He hires hookers a lot. It looks like one of them was underage and he got blqckmailed for it.

Too bad, he's a talented guy.

You really want to climb up on a hill and say 'he hired an underage hooker and got blackmailed for statutory rape'?

Whatever you say, Custer.

I get why he was picked. Gaetz did a lot of good during his time in Congress including holding Kevin McCarthy's feet to the fire, combine that with his questioning of Biden officials in committee was always top notch.

Underage is tricky.  I mean what is a fella suppose to do, cut them open and count the rings?

What was gained by holding Mccarthy's feet to the fire other than a couple weeks where other work was neglected?

You seem to care 😂

Just in case you weren’t keeping up. He was going to be AG. It then became rumored he banged an underage girl and is a coke fiend allegedly. Then he got bounced. Now the report that had these details in it has been released.

You're welcome!

McCarthy had been an undesirable candidate for SotH from the start as he was mostly seen an establishment hack. Somebody needed the job and bless him for trying but when the chips were down he always folded. He just had no balls to stand up to the Dems. A lot of Republicans were disappointed that McCarthy had chosen to rely on /cave to Democrats to pass both budget bills rather than push the Senate and the people who ran the White House in a more fiscally responsible direction. Gaetz was the one who orchestrated his removal from Speaker after the second one.

It'll continue to be difficult to get all the House GOP aligned going forward, but the job is made easier with a Republican president. I like President Trump very much but he's just not been much help on fiscal responsibility. The deficit continued to blow up on him as it has on every president since Bill Clinton left office.

Anyway, the GOP is better off with Johnson as Speaker and McCarthy on the talk show circuit.

Also, here is Biden's Attorney General vs Trump's potential Attorney General and its beautiful and you realize why the guy was nominated.

There you go. You have been following so you do care. The report that was not going to be released was. And here we are.

One who is not interested doesn’t bother to post in the thread about it.

He's had quite the roller coaster. Wins re-election, gets nominated for AG, withdraws from consideration, then has this come out anyway. He might have reentered Congress in January since he has just won re-election in November but instead he's going to be a commentator on a far right news outlet; I forget Newsmax or OANN or Breitbart perhaps.

Too bad he couldn't control his sex urges, the guy had talent.

All far right.

He can still go back to his elected position in congress. If he is innocent that seems like an obvious choice for him, no?

Another thing you don't understand.

Doesn't matter who started it in the 1800s.

What matters is what populates it now.

Typical MAGAturd logic to hold something to what it was 160 years ago.

Myriad Democrats in the 20th century shifted to Republican because they didn't care much for that good ol' civil-rights movement.

Good gawd, tool on down to the community college and take a focking class, you booger-eating moron.

Yes, the option is open to him. He resigned from this Congress, not the next one which he was elected to. Instead, he chose not to and so you have to read into it what you will. I read it as a accepting a position that is massive step backwards because he thinks his political career is cooked.

I'm happy for you that your beloved Matt Gaetz can still resume his congressional stylings.
