Started watching it cause i needed something new.  Its absurd on soooo many levels.   The crap that they get away with.   Ugh.  Im gonna finish it cause i started it but boy is it filled with crap that would not and could not ever happen.  I never knew how easy it could be to break into a US embassy,  take out a marine, and escape without a trace.   

Characters are fairly ok tho

Carry on was ok. Mostly cause of Jason Bateman.   Plot also fairly dumb but its watchable i guess

Series has 6 epiaodes.  I watched 5. It was so bad i couldnt watch the finale.   The show sucks dude.  Sticking with it just wastes more life force.  Theres bad tv but this is over the top bad

Well 5/6 is a pretty decent run. Guess it just wasn’t for you :dunno:

Wife and I watched it and agree that it was enjoyable enough.  Spot on about Jason Bateman being the main reason.  He's one of my current favorite actors.  :cheers:

thanks for the heads up.  What was so bad about it, in your opinion?  Is it just another Mary Sue or Girl Boss show?  Those are insufferable.

Was thinking about watching it but don't want to waste my time if it's one of those.

Well.  The plot is absurd.  And i mean really bad.  Lots of mass murders, shootings in London streets, rocket launchers being used. No cops.  Anywhere.   And like i said before---spoiler below

This woman gets invited to the US embassy in london on a ruse. Ok. Thats beievable i guess.  Then sneaks off and manages to take down a US Marine in an elevator.  Calls her British handler, and her handler tells her no problem, we will hack the camera feed in elevator #2 for you. Really?  Dont think about all the other cameras that are there?  And someone outside is gonna hack the elevator camera anyway?  In the US Embassy??Come on.

Plus, i promise the GC will not like how woke it is.  Lots of gay stuff.   Lots.  Which have no relevance to the plot at all.  The main hitman guy, whos supposed to be billy bad ass...is a sniveling little wuss who cant get over his boyfriend.  

Shes the wife of the secretary of defense for the UK and a mom.  But she has time to go be a spy and do all this stuff.  And shes never recognized.   

Ugh. I could go on.  Its dumb on epic levels

You know. I dont think Bateman has a ton of range as an actor.  He kinda does the same stuff with minor variations, but hes really good at that, so yeah its usually worth checking out stuff hes in.

I finished this series, and unfortunately I have to agree with Supermike. It’s good if you’re able to suspend all reality while watching. The gay story line was also completely unnecessary and took away all masculine traits from the character who was supposed to be the most masculine. You have to wonder if Netflix forces the content creators to do this. There’s no logical reason for any writer to add that in on their own.

 Started watching Ashley Madison last night. Very interesting. It’s about the website in the early 2000’s where you could hook up with others needing a a good pounding. Really entertaining so far.
