Just giving you some basics on how the WH functions. The Press Secretary is the lead spokesperson for the WH. In this case she even went the extra mile to spell it out for you that this was coming straight from the Prez.

Have you read Amazon's statement about this?  They don't even deny it was being considered.  They're just pretending it was just for some low level, subsidiary site and not their main site.   Word leaked and it got reported, the WH started calling them out for it, and they backtracked.  It's amazing how you libs think.  Anything you think the Republicans are even THINKING about and you're all chicken little, but even with evidence you won't admit your side did something untoward.  It's amazing, EVERY TIME.
