If I were you, I’d be more mad that Jordan Love cheated the Peckers out of $220m. :(

Cheated?  Our QB can actually throw the ball and not have to have assistance running it into the endzone.

Y'know, that's what QBs are supposed to do: pass.   These runners like Hurts run to hide their passing deficiencies.  When the legs finally give out you'll see.

What I saw in the WC round would indicate otherwise. :(

Sure, even Michael Vick was good once in awhile passing the ball.  It's the consistency That's a problem with running quarterbacks.

True. He’ll have to console himself with his 49-27 career record as a starter, 2 NFC championships, Super Bowl ring, and SB MVP.

Maybe Love should start running? That whole throwing the football thing doesn’t seem to be working out for him.

If Love started running, at least he'd do it on his own instead of having the rest of the team push him forward.

Which, is odd since so does Hurts!

Jordan Love: 3389 yds / 25 TDs / 11 INTs

Jalen Hurts: 2903 yds / 18 TDs / 5 INTs

Hurts had a great game in the SB throwing. If the Chiefs showed up he would have been the difference.

As a lifelong Vikings fan, I'm supposed to hate anything to do with the Green Bay Packers. While it pains me to do so, I have to agree with them here. NFL football isn't rugby.

I dunno, when I see it, I wonder if the defense will be able to stop it.

I have no dog in this fight because my team (Cardinals) has an Oompa Loompa at QB, so we'll never do it.  And it seems like sour grapes from teams that don't have a QB who can squat 600 pounds.

But I do find it funny that the NFL pretends to care about QB safety, and yet allow this type of play.  Also, there are other plays where the NFL outlaws similar assistance that don't involve QBs (defense jumping on lineman to block a kick, for instance).

It will end when somebody throws an elbow at Hurts' head and knocks him out.  Then the NFL will cry "my QB safety$#@!"

I don't know why teams think they need a certain kind of QB for this. Seems to me that any backup defensive lineman with ten minutes of practice taking the snap will do just as well.

That's an interesting point.  But apparently, it's not so easy, or else everyone would do it.  :dunno:

Nick Sirianni, Head Coach of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, says it’s not easy and they practice it a ton.

This ⬆️.    And 31 other teams are allowed to do it as well. Haters are mad because their Twink QBs don't have the lower body strength to do it successfully.

Stop crying and kiss the ring!!! 😂

Hey ill take the high expectations from other fans.

5th in QBR.  Hurt 2 different times.  WRs led the league in drop rate.  Lost to the SB champs in Brazil.   Lost to Lions and Vikings twice a piece 2 teams who had great regular seasons.

Terrible season.  He sucks.

I don’t think Love “sucks.” He did suck in the WC round. Can’t hold that against him though. The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles made Mahomes look like a scared rookie. :first:

He's ok, not the Alpha type who will ever win anything but serviceable. I'd like to see him run a bit more. I think that would help his confidence

The defensive front four of the Eagles just killed everything in front of in the playoffs. It didn't seem they ever needed to blitz, just those 4 guys getting so much pressure that affected the QB.  Great job by them.

Eagles were 10th in sack % and 14th in sacks this year. That’s good, not great. KC’s OL sucks and got whipped hard.

In the two games I watched KC/Packers the front four played very well. Once, Jenkins went down in Green Bay(center was injured later), it was like blood in the water. They only got to Love twice, but they had him moving, throwing off balance all game and rushing through progressions.  Results 4 TO's and Eagle win.

So maybe good during the regular season, but really good when I saw them.

True. Just saying, I think the SB performance was a combo of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles peaking at the right time and KC’s OL being ass. Philly didn’t do that to many (any?) other teams this season.

When the 2023 season ended Love stated the biggest thing he needed to do was work on his footwork-something I agreed with 100%. He relies way too much on his arm strength and ability to make off-balance throws, even when he has a clean pocket.  I don't know if it was because the repeated leg issues, but there wasn't much improvement in his footwork this year. That was #1 what MLF said he needs to work on for next year.

Until he becomes more consistent with that, he will always have a little too much inconsistency in his game. Times where he will go 19-1 TD/Int(2023) or throw 11 picks in 8 games like he did to start off last season. From what I've seen, the guy works hard, getting teammates together in the off-season, studying, etc. I have high expectations that he will improve on that going into next season.
