Bill Clinton's telecommunications act allowed major media & multi-media outlets to buy up all of the small ones essentially restricting free enterprise. They went full corporate (weird, that's what conservatives were supposed to be). Then, he good ole' racist Joe, write/pass the crime bill that puts all those black guys in prison for smoking pot. Weren't they all a bunch of pot smoking hippies in the 60's and 70's passing these laws? Nah, Democrats need to STFU with their bs trigger words. They just show their incompetence and willingness to believe the crap shoveled to them by their masters in the MSM that Bill Clinton designed.

I do it to keep active. I made like $7k last year that I don't need working very part time. And had full health insurance coverage all this year and still made like $5k so far this year that I don't need. But the full insurance coverage works just fine? When you personally retire at 80 years old, are you going to keep active or just keep doing what you currently do and sit in your old chair and whine day and night? Because you can't afford to retire until you are almost dead.

If someone transferred or retired the spot was rarely filled and all the new temp caries were misfits and were either fired for stealing or lazy but the majority just quit within 90 days. Take a person at 79k rate when everyone is working 60 plus hours a week , the 6th consecutive day is double time add in night differential after 7 . Sunday staffing carriers for Amazon also turns regular 1.5 X into 2X. The top pay carrier worked every Sunday and Holiday that needed collections plus Amazon coverage , that’s 7 days a week for the year minus sick days and vacation. Hey numbnuts the guy traded his personal life for staying on the clock 7 days a week working mostly 12 hours a day. Not something I would do. Guys not on the OT list cleared 100k on forced OT. It’s simple math. The 1.5x OT rate for step O was $56 and change an hour. I don’t know how Iowa or Tennessee etc ran but the Northeast was perpetually understaffed Look at this guy from 2022 , he’s only 29 so even if he started at 21 he’s only halfway to top pay Quote See How This 29-Year-Old USPS Mail Carrier Made Over $90,000 Last Year Summarize United States Postal Service employee Jordan Myers made serious bank raking in $90,000 last year, according to CNBC. Myers resides in Memphis, Tennessee, and earns a base pay of $41,000 per year. With the addition of overtime, he was able to increase his salary to $90,000, Myers told CNBC. On an average workday, he can clock in 13 hours, including walking 14 miles to deliver mail to approximately 500 houses per day. Myers is not averse to hard work and practices having a positive mindset. “Everything is mental,” he explained. “If you have the mindset and the drive to do something, I feel like you can really break through a lot of barriers.” He willingly works about five hours of overtime per day during business hours per week and volunteers to do extra hours over the weekend. “I don’t think of it as hard,” he said. “I think about what I can do and what I’m trying to accomplish.” His overtime hours bumped his base salary up considerably. “The biggest thing that people don’t realize as a mail carrier is how much work you actually do,” he explained. “A lot of people say it’s easy because you’re just walking, and they only see you [for] maybe five minutes here and there, every other day.” Myers recalled the onset of the pandemic and how the mail piled up because other employees were fearful of the virus. He used the lack of available labor force to earn $78,000 in 2020. He endured “endless walking [for] around 20 miles a day.”
