I am pretty sure no conference has ever has 6 teams in the sweet 16.

The Real timschochet 6,389 Posted March 22 Let’s keep in mind that the Big 10 is now pretty much the Big 16 or so…UCLA, USC, Oregon… so what you have is the cream of the old PAC-10 combined with the cream of the old Big-10…

You might want to reread the article… The first two paragraphs: The ACC set a record in 2016 with an incredible six teams in the Sweet 16. Seven different ACC teams made the NCAA Tournament that year with Pittsburgh the only team that did not make the Sweet 16.

Voltaire 5,181 Posted March 23 This is really great for the Big Ten, obviously. We'll see how many of these teams can get into the Sweet 16.

Looks like Wiscinsin will be the first to fall. They can occasionally get within four, but then the wheels come off again and its back to double digits again.

Voltaire 5,181 Posted March 24 The only two Big Ten teams that truly matter to me are Michigan and Michigan State. MSU just finished off New Mexico. It'd be cool if they could run into each other in the Elite Eight... although what happened last time they played...

Michigan and Michigan State are 1A and A1 and there's a 100-way tie for last place. Oregon, Wisconsin and Illinois didn't make it either. The dissolution of the PAC Ten is a sad situation. UCLA is a quality program with good tradition, except that time that their players went shopping in China expecting the same five finger discounts available to them in California. It turns out that teens growing up in California have no knowledge of how human beings behave in communities not run by leftoid retards.
