Frozenbeernuts 2,112 Posted March 22 This little battery powered espresso maker is great. It makes good espresso quickly without spending a ton for a whole setup. I wouldn't use the heating element because it kills the battery with one use. I heat my water up in our kettle and then pour it into the devise already hot. https://a.co/d/0VT08oP

Right around 8:00 and again around 10:00. I use a Nespresso.

Do you use the milk frother to make it foamy? I add a little honey and foam it up.

Pretty much the same or a pour over for breakfast. Nespresso makes a decent, easy espresso.

No, just un caffe con latte caldo. 20 minutes ago, thegeneral said: Pretty much the same or a pour over for breakfast. Nespresso makes a decent, easy espresso. Yes, it does and the Nespresso is a sturdy machine. My previous unit lasted 12 years.

What possessed someone to make a cake with wet milk? Conceptually it sounds like a terrible idea.

Nah, that’s def not what you said. Not sure where “over here” is for you but if it’s America, espresso based beverages are not more espresso than milk. A standard espresso shot is roughly 1.15 ounces. If you get a double in a latte or something, you’re still getting far more milk than espresso.

Sorry, The topic was espresso so I was talking espresso only which is a shot of strong, high concentration coffee, obviously. cafe con leche is espresso with scalded milk, not foamed. Usually 50/50 or more milk. hence why I originally said if you want espresso a better version is cafe con leche. Perhaps I should have said “my favorite espresso drink is cafe con leche”. I figured that went without saying. I wasn’t comparing espresso based beverages BUT a latte for example is different than cafe con leche. Different milk ratios and foam vs no foam. Yes you are correct, a latte is going to be 2-1 milk or even more.
