I actually thought that was the big objection. Frankly if he's a US citizen then I have no idea why Maga howls and invents so much about him. But again the best way to rein in a citizen like Soros or Musk or their ilk is campaign finance regulation and for that you need to change the court makeup.

Soros and Pritzker told the Democrat Party EXACTLY where to send that money and they complied.  It was a smoke screen and a redirect.  It's as if they gave it to her directly anyways.

And  I agree that we should try to keep money and billionaires out of it, but when the left talks about it, all they talk about is "the other side's" money and billionaires.  Never their own.  So, respectfully, all of these claims by the left about "money in politics" fall on deaf ears because in reality all they are trying to do is prevent one side from doing that.

Of course that money ultimately went to both candidates. I did not mean to infer otherwise. Pritzker is the IL governor, FFS. He has NO business donating to a campaign in another state IMO, but them's the rules. The whole thing stinks and you won't see me supporting billionaires spending unlimited cash in elections regardless of who they are throwing it at. 

Elon is a convenient poster boy right now because of how enmeshed he has become with MAGA and Trump and the sheer quantity of his expenditures. That part is unique to him, and not something that Soros, the Kochs, et al have done in the past. Kick em ALL out!

Susan Crawford won by about 237K votes.  I don't see any evidence of election hijinks, but I wouldn't be surprised.  Democrats have been stuffing ballot boxes and cheating for decades.
