I'm sure everybody can find ways to throw rocks at the church. But the one that leaves me unsettled is just the pump and Circumstance and pageantry and money and money and money thrown at the Pope's lifeless body. What a fine most unsettling is the timing of his death should have reminded the powers that be that Christ didn't have any of this Pomp and Circumstance and passion when he was crucified. You think somebody might have thought of that seeing as how was just Easter dontcha know. 

 

Also, if you ever get the chance to see the Pieta in a curated environment, even if you're not a believer, it is a gut punch emotionally.Its Mary, cradling her dead son's body.

Nah, there’s plenty here who are conservative that don’t have as strong of a beliefs as I do about immigration/culture change.

Also, I’m not a white supremacist, I don’t think white people are the best. I do however think there are some cultures that are far worse than others and I don’t want anything to do with them.. because genetics harvest the culture, no matter how much money you dipshits throw at it or however many minorities have a dream, it doesn’t work.

I've also pointed out that Nigerians are the most successful immigrant class in recent years.  This is borne out by data.  By and large, the Nigerians who come here value education, family, and personal responsibility.  Their kids can be anything they want, as long as it is a doctor, lawyer, or engineer.

From everything I can find from our Census and other reports online:

Indian, Taiwanese, French, Russian, Bulgarian, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, Malaysian, Iranian all rank ahead of Nigerian immigrants in education levels and on income levels they are outside of the top 25.

Anecdotally, I have worked with many engineers from Nigeria.  Moreso than all other blacks combined.  My radiation oncologist was from there.  My favorite was a nurse who started as a geological engineer then decided she wanted to be a nurse; her parents were extremely disappointed, because they felt nursing was less prestigious.
