You forgot the word "again" in your title.  This isn't the first time.

Yet, supported by those that live and visit the state of California. Lots of Pedro’s.  Shame.

I don't think anyone here is surprised that California would do this.

@The Real timschochet @squistion love that for California. Probably one of the reasons they love it there.

Democrats Democrating. The best solution is to not live there if you have both kids and a sense of right and wrong.

Roman Polanski and his supporters approve of this, particularly if it would include a defense of "Well she looked at least 18 to me."

The one guy they interviewed said that adding 16/17 year olds to the "cannot purchase for s*x" said that the bill wasn't "equitable."

Tell that to the trafficked kids and their families.

Pieces of shiiite all of them.

And @Strike is right...this is AGAIN. The last bill, Gov Gavin had to get involved and actually push something through; because HIS party STILL wasn't voting against trafficking.

I do NOT understand some people.

They are sick and evil.  These people are slowly going to push to normalize pedophilia.  they're already calling them "minor attracted people" instead, now.

It's disgusting and they all need to take a long walk on a short pier.

California GOP learned from Trump and their pressure forced the Dems to backtrack on this issue:

https://www.kcra.com/article/california-assembly-democrats-reverse-course-teen-sex-solicitation-bill/64691470

Don't believe the article.  It says Newsom and Dems had something to do with it but it was primarily the GOP who were starting an ad blitz that would have made a lot of Dems look really bad, especially ones in swing districts.

I really don't have a choice. My family is here. Until in-laws and parents are gone...this is it. Trust me, if it were up to me, I would have left years ago.

I do, however, encourage my kids to move if they want to. My daughter most likely won't live in CA when she's older.
