The Democratic party's inability to properly message, their obsession with taking woke to its greatest extremes, and, most importantly, the absolute scam they foisted on the public last year when it came to Biden's fitness for the presidency indicates to me that the party is an absolute shitshow. They are supposed to be the adults in the room while Trump tries to tear everything down, but they can't get out of their own way. I like the ideas the Dems bring to the table, but their execution is beyond incompetent. They need to get their shlt in order, and thinking like this will get us similar results to what we've already seen. I don't need to see a sequel to this clusterfuck. But it will hurt the older people who rely on Medicaid- or the people who legitimately need Medicaid for a variety of reasons. Maybe not directly from the bill but indirectly in that once you see funding stop to one area the system will have to make it up or stretch dollars further which will lead to lesser deals with doctors which will lead to lesser care and lesser coverage.
