I am not sure that they worked, and it wasn't really on my mind at the time. 

COVID was very frightening when it was happening. Did I foolishly and blindly trust? Maybe. 

Unfortunately, they don't have a titer test that would show that we (those who were vaccinated) are or were ever immune. 

COVID-type viruses (flu, SARS, common cold, etc) have incredibly fast mutations - it's hard to say if ANY vaccine would work. 

With COVID, hindsight is 20/20 and those of you who were against it from the start would be singing a MUCH different tune if it had turned out to be like Spanish Flu or Bubonic Plague that had taken over (which lasted HUNDREDS of years).

This isn't necessarily true. 

I am going to assume (and we know what happens when we do that) that you can work with your own PCP about getting vaccines even if you aren't high risk. I know mine does.

If you are NOT high risk, wouldn't you also want to save those vaccines for those that are and really TRULY need them?

This is a new regulation, so doesn't matter what your PCP does now, it will not be allowed in the future according to the FDA.  It's not about vaccine scarcity and saving the doses, it's about being anti-vax and anti science.

The vaccine will still be available to ANYONE who needs it, just through your local provider.  It's not FREE.

Let's just get facts straight.  The covid vaccine underwent a full rigor trial, double blind placebo trial.  This all happened before approval.

What brain rot is changing is that he is requiring this for every annual strain when experts say it's not necessary.  It's not required for the flu vaccine.. yet, we'll see if it is.

But this is all done to undermine vaccines.  He's an antivaxer so this was a given.  He's starting with covid as it's been the biggest lightening rod with social media still spreading lies about people dropping dead.  Republicans believe this stuff.

So as a vaccine supporter, why would you support trials per season which will just delay the release of the vaccine with little to no safety benefits?

1. If the FDA had reason to pull the vaccine they would have.

I work in a large hospital. The vast majority of my coworkers are vaxxed with multiple boosters, as am I and my family members.

I do, and I don't know very many people. My aunt got high blood pressure after getting the Covid vaccine. My mom got a-fib. My dad got a nerve tingling on the side of his face. His went away after a couple years. My aunt and mom are still dealing with their issues and my mom's a-fib is really affecting her life negatively.
