As of yesterday the reporting was that Hegseth wasn’t involved. That may have changed but it seems off that you want to credit him.

It's hilarious watching libs change their tune whenever Trump does anything.  Before he does it he's wrong for reason 1.  Once he does it and proved reason 1 wrong they find another reason he was wrong for doing it.  But never, ever do they acknowledge that they were wrong.

I'd imagine in a cabinet and staff comprised of tens of people, a few will have differing opinions and when Trump disagrees with the ONE person you decide is the lone expert you want to say that is ALL of our intelligence forces?

Fair enough, but I think it goes deeper than that with Iran.  I don't want war anywhere either, but these m'fers have promised to kill every last one of us so taking advantage of an opportunity to remove them from power or disable/prevent their nuclear program from ever taking fruition is smart military strategy.  It was probably a tough call, but we've literally seen what 40 years of doing nothing did: Allowed Iran to build a nuclear program and continue to lie about it to the world.  This should have been done 40/30/20 years ago but now we have to deal with it.

Whats my position?  I guess im really not sure.  I think Israel should try to take out as many nuclear operations as possible then back off.  But Israel is sort of crazy and you cant blame them.  They have Iran backed terrorists to the north, west, and the Houthis out in the east.  If America had that setup we would be aggressive as well.  But Israel really doesnt fock around and never has.   They dont go do stuff half ass.  When they go they go.  

But my prediction is the US does get involved and I would almost guarantee it unless it plays out much differently than it seems like it will thus far. 

War sucks period.   Perhaps if they didnt chant death to Israel death to America all the time then it wouldnt be as dire.  If Iran had any sense they wouldnt do that and just be the snake in the grass.  When you keep saying you want to wipe Israel off the map and then up enriching your uranium to wild levels that is beyond domestic use, then yea.  People put 2 and 2 together and want to stop it before its too late.

OK two parts to your post. 
 

1. First off your assumptions are wrong. Gabbard has access to ALL US intelligence and her job is to collate it and report to the President. The reporting is that Trump, in the last few days ignored her and the entire intelligence community. He’s not listening to anyone. He may be listening to Israeli intelligence. Who knows? But It is incorrect of you to assume that he’s listening to American intelligence sources contradicting Gabbard because that doesn’t exist (unless she’s making up sh!t; I do question her competence.) 

2. I don’t know. They have a nuclear enrichment program, I don’t know if they were close to nuclear weapons. @jerryskids has argued that the nuclear enrichment in itself may be an unacceptable risk and I can buy into that argument though unless they were very close I question the urgency. 
 

To conclude: I don’t know where Trump is getting his info. Maybe he will answer that when he addresses the nation shortly, Maybe he will provide exact evidence of nuclear weapons that were imminent. If he does I will be satisfied. But if he gives his typical vague “hey they were close OK? Trust me on this” bullsh!t then I won’t be satisfied and I suspect most people outside of the cheering squad won’t be satisfied.
