Humorously, the x post he just shared was about how Israel posted a photo of grenade shells as “proof” that the aid station was attacked by Hamas, and complaining that people questioned that as evidence. You suggested "direction of the crowd" and if the intent was warning shots they could absolutely be in the direction of the crowd but not directly AT the crowd. That's kind of the point of a warning shot - to WARN someone that they MIGHT get shot but not ACTUALLY shoot them.
