It’s not an issue. I didn’t even know Milk was in the Navy or had a ship after him. It’s just on brand for the Reality TV POTUS and his clown show admin.

He never did anything worthy of having a US Navy vessel named after him in the first place. 

I see no problem with renaming it in honor of an actual MOH recipient.

Changing the name of bases that were named after traitors and seditionists is petty? Hot take. 

In an extra petty move, Trump couldn’t legally revert back to the traitors names, so he named them after a non-confederate with the same last name. For example Fort Bragg is now named after a WWII private with the last name “Bragg.”

It’s anyone’s guess if the private was deserving, but pettiness was the point. Trump is a brittle little girl.
