I'm guessing Israel had a better reason than a well kept lawn, unbiased moderate guy.  But as a guy on the internet just chatting, yeah, that guy doesn't look like he's waiting in the food line for a bag of rice from Israel.  And also a bullet, because Israel shoots civilians at aid centers, amirite, guy who doesn't hate Jews?

All right, fair enough. Intersex people (people born with both sex organs or or alternatively people born with underdeveloped sex organs) do exist and some live lives as men, some as women. I respect their dignity and their right to choose to be treated as such. So, intersex aside, my position is that people with only functional male organs are always and forever men and people with only functional female organs are always and forever female. That mental health and other healthcare professionals should first and foremost encourage them to find peace, happiness and contentment with the body they have and prescribe diet or exercise. If people go a step beyond this and exhibit a desire to dress and live life presenting as a person of the opposite gender, they are free to do so. Expecting other people to affirm, see, or treat them as a member of that other gender is an individual choice. Society at large should restrict them to only have access to sex specific areas such as bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports leagues to the gender they were born into. A final decision to mutilate their sex organs and receive cross-gender hormones should only occur in adults who desire it and should be privately financed, explicitly excluding any subsidizing by taxpayer money.

I was not looking to get into a debate over this. I was just pointing out that I don't believe men have ovaries, and that I feel pretty confident that those thoughts are shared by the vast majority of Americans, despite what MAGA likes to claim. As you said, we can take this to another thread, but you and I are MOSTLY in agreement on the above.

Again, I have no opinion on whether or not he was Hamas, I just thought the comment of “nice house = Hamas!” was funny.  Obviously I don’t think the fact that the IDF killed him means much one way or the other either.  But I also never said he was starving, although of course it’s also possible that was an old picture.

I just did a quick search on this guy.  Looks like even Israel is calling him a “financial operative.”  So even if he was Hamas, he was not an actual combatant.  Doesn’t seem worthy of killing his family to get a finance dude.

The Israelis have been forced to release hundreds of Hamas fighters (out of 2700+) involved in outright terrorism including participants ing in the 10/7 attacks as part of the Trump-Arab deal. And Trump & the Arabs are demanding Barghouti be released as well. It’s pretty nonsensical why Israel is holding one American, Thats the deal Trump jammed them into, might as well get on with it.

Update:  not only has the Israeli settler who murdered someone on camera not been held accountable, but Israel has approved plans to demolish the village where it happened.  Jerry thinks this guy was just a rogue crazy dude.

I saw a guy bartender wearing nail polish at the Denver airport. I bought the beer uneventfully. I went to a private event at a place I went to with coworkers in Charlotte, one of the customers was a big dude who wore a dress, makeup, & a shaved pate. He didn’t cause any problems. The US Ambassador to Israel being a TV grifter & completely unqualified who got his position in a global warfare & terrorist hotspot seems infinitely more dangerous to me, but I’ll keep you posted.
