Do we want to do a slow draft?

Every year we have done an online draft in either the yahoo or espn draft rooms which I thought was to eliminate potential preseason and camp injury issues. I noticed espn expanded their pick timers so I had already adjusted it to 4 min from 2. 
 

as for a slow draft we would probably have to start now to even hope to have it finished by the season, imho. But if someone wants to run it and keep on everyone to make somewhat timely picks, then I’m good with what the consensus wants to do.
 

unless you mean having everyone here to still do it in one evening?

ESPN live draft room.  4 min pick timer.   $50 entry fee unless there is a vote to up it... I assume with ed gone I am collecting league dues this year. You can use the same e-mail as the edex.  I prefer paypal so I can just leave the pot sitting in there but I know some people such as BiffLager don't use it so I will do Venmo for those who can't use their PP

I'll be out of town at a business whoop tee doo and won't be able to be in the draft. I've set my draft to autoselect and "best available."

Hopefully I didn't fock it up.

that sucks. I hate when someone is auto drafting since it sometimes becomes very obvious who the cpu will pick for you and the teams around you get a slight edge.  I believe you can set your own pre draft rankings at least for the first few rounds.

I'll see if I can do that. 

My company is renting out Disneyworld Animal Kingdom for that whole night, so trying to draft while doing that would be close to impossible, and I don't believe the wife would appreciate that, either.

Any chance we can move back the draft? Hell, even one day would allow me to draft. 

Personally, the weekend before the season starts is what I prefer.

No biggie if the date is set in stone, and I'll autodraft.

I am open to 8/30 or begrudgingly 8/29  

basically if if works for everyone in the league I will shuffle things around to make it work 

aside from 9/2 when I have another draft.

Wow, thanks guys. I don't know if I've ever missed a live draft, so I really don't want to miss this one.

My flight from Orlando lands around 4:20 p.m. in Dallas, and it's another couple of hours to get back home.

If we’re considering changing the draft date, I can’t do 8/29 or 8/30. 8/31 is maybe (should probably assume not). I can do 9/1.

I have another draft on 9/1 and would be out on 9/2.  Open outside of that.

sounds like rusty is out of luck then as it makes no sense to swap a date that works for 11 people to another date that only works for 11

8/28 is the current and 9/1 seems like the only backup plan unless Gladiators can make 8/31 work. Sunday evening, but its a holiday weekend so understandable if its a no go.

I’m good to go on 8/31. Just got confirmation that our friends who are visiting will be leaving Sunday evening.

ETA - Looks like 8/31 doesn’t work for Megla anyway.

I won't be around tonight.  Thursday/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon  night I can make any of those work.  Or even Wed night 9/3 squeezing it in.

After the draft I will be using an order randomizer to draw our new divisions for this season  1-4/5-8/9-12  as a few people had asked that we switch them up this season.

The final step will be to set the schedule so that everyone plays their division opponents 2x and each other team 1x.
