Rand Paul calls Trump's drug boat strikes "extrajudicial killings"

Do you know what conditions are like in Venezuela due to Maduro? It would be a blessing for the people of Venezuela if we killed him.

They want him dead more than anyone.

So you understand why many law-abiding Venezuelans would want to flee there and come here, correct?

But we were told they were emptying their prisons and sending their criminals here.

YES, MAN VENEZUELANS ARE CRIMINALS, NOT ALL OF COURSE.

But what does that have to do with anything?

We have borders, we have legal avenues for Immigration. If you came here illegally your a criminal. They can file on the grounds of Political assylum, like many others did.

You just want THEM HERE ILLEGALLY.

WORRY ABOUT THIS COUNTRY FOR ONCE.

Would you agree to calling it war if “Yes” wins Polymarket’s bet of “US x Venezuela military engagement”?  I’m just trying to set some parameters here

Interestingly, apparently Polymarket says killing Maduro would not be a winning bet for Yes.  Not sure I’d agree with that, but I’d be willing to agree to how Polymarket defines it.  I know @Meglamaniac won’t of course because he thinks we haven’t been in a war since WWII

Either:

1) It can be war with Venezuela without an official declaration of war

or

2) You don’t think the US has been in a war since WWII

You can’t have it both ways, make up your mind.  This is not a gotcha attempt according to your own words.

Prove it.  When was the last time the US was in a war?

Liberals prefer that instead of protecting our border and keeping illegal drugs out of this country, that we burn our cities down, loot, kill, and assault.

Trump may make targeted strikes like with Iran and Syria, but I strongly doubt he'll risk US lives in this and he has no intention of getting bogged down in as his best moments in the 2016 debates was slamming Jeb! for his Bushtarded brother's millitary adventurism. He may be willing to make some efforts to topple Maduro but he's not looking for any war.

Got to give Rand Paul credit: Unlike GC MAGAs, he has principles.

Nope, not all. I agree these killings are not allowed as carried out (per the US Constitution) and not right. I agree with Rand Paul.

google AI shows the following (when searching for: extrajudicial killings us constitution) -

The U.S. Constitution, through its Due Process and Fourth Amendment clauses, generally prohibits extrajudicial killings, which are deprivations of life outside of the legal process. The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments guarantee that no person shall be "deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law," a standard that extrajudicial killings are seen to violate. However, the application of this principle is debated, particularly concerning targeted killings of suspected terrorists abroad, with arguments centering on the definitions of "imminent threat" and the scope of executive authority in counterterrorism operations.

Yeah pretty sure the US constitution only covers US Citizens.  Doubt they made it to blanket the world

That might be an overstatement, but I'd definitely take him over what we've got.

I'd take a pile of horse excrement over what we have now. I'd take YOU over what we have now.

Though the decision between you and a pile of horseshit may give me pause. 😉

Careful, you're inciting potential violence against a potential POTUS. I think they can lock you up for that now.
