You know, in all my years of living, I've never seen more outward hate towards people simply based on their political views. Republicans are on a war path, making insulting statements about liberals and Democrats, who, in my opinion are a more empathetic group.

You'd think that you all would be on top of the world and happy, but no, you're just a mean bitter sour angry hateful bunch. It's pervasive. What happened to being happy? Why are you all so hell bent on spending your days worrying about pedophiles and transexuals and satan and abortions and oppressing other people. You all obsess over crime; crimes that won't ever touch you. You live in safety, yet, stock up on guns for perceived threats that are only in your head. Trump is far more popular when out of office than when in office. Because the whole shtick is getting people mad at the establishment. His base only knows anger and grievance.

Then he becomes the establishment and makes everything worse. So it’s a double whammy. Can’t harness that anti-government anger and he also made things worse instead of better. Below 40% approval in the average of all polls right now.

saying the world is a better place with someone not in it is crazy when that person did nothing to deserve a violent act against them. There’s nothing wrong with being opinionated. A wife losing a husband, kids losing a parent… none of that is offset because he now can’t say things you disagree with ‍

I’ve actually wondered a few times that if you didn’t spend so much of your time looking for racism around every corner, do you think you’d be better off / further in life? 
im not saying racism doesn’t exist and im not saying we should all turn a blind eye toward it, obviously, just saying it seems to consume you and I wonder if you just lived your life without the constant thought of it (which yes, you can do)… would you be a happier person?

One need not look very hard for racism with Trump and JD. They trumpet it loudly. I would LOVE to live in a world where it was hard to find people saying racist things.

JD calling Minneapolis Mogadishu, Trump calling Somalians garbage, accusing Haitians of eating cats, etc. This isn’t coded hidden racism. It’s blatant and out in the open.

Please bring back the days when racists needed to use dog whistles. Because I am sick of seeing gross racist comments from our leaders every day.

Okay but when I bring up race it is in response to a post where someone else has made a racist statement! I don’t bring up race out of the blue. It’s usually only after 3 or 4 racist posts when I finally chime in. You all don’t even see the racism because it’s not directed at you, you don’t feel slighted. Don’t blame me because I make efforts to shut down racist remarks. Pointing out racism here doesn’t make ME racist. You all just don’t like it that I am not going to ignore your cruel comments.
