Not that I would expect you or anyone to remember that but I have mentioned I love  the angst in that song and calling someone stupid belligerent focker is so me. LOL. 
 

Almost any song from that album would have been fine for me. Not going to name others but Sober would have been first choice.

In my opinion there are a few more Alice in Chains songs that are better than the few chosen. I would have taken a couple not picked yet in the 2nd and 3rd round.

Agreed. I said there are plenty of songs by a lot of the groups that we won’t even get to draft - however I took what means more to me then “hits” or “ranked higher”.

Yeah, I focked up taking Black Hole Sun with my first pick. I went off a list online of top alternative rock songs of the 90's. It was ranked pretty high so I took it. 

Shoulda gone in another direction. I've been picking songs I want on my mix tape since then.

Rancid certainly isn’t grunge. It’s Ska Punk. I love most of their stuff but I just wanted to go with something mainstream for them. Tim Armstrong also brought a lot of other acts into the fray like the Distillers lead by his ex wife Brody Dale   

can’t see an issue with liking Rancid when we have oasis and weezer in the draft

All of it true. Not contesting the pick by any means. Just why I didn't pick it.

I think alternative rock is different than grunge rock, although all of grunge most definitely fits in alternative rock.   Some of my next few picks, if they make it to me, definitely wouldn't be considered grunge.   But I do think a band like Weezer is definitely alternative.
