I thought about this but didn't do, both great and different.  Evil Dead, when I saw it as a kid, truly scared me, lots of great gore, just watched it today, but Evil Dead 2 is hilarious.

Yeah I was debating as well...  I love gory movies and the first one was great, but I think Bruce Campbell and his comedy just made the second one better...
