I think what he is saying is that he is Rhamondre's mom. And he loves her son mucho.

Yeah but we are not talking about seasons end in a redraft league. Pats were good before Stevenson injury so it’s not like the emergence of Henderson is why they are winning. I have no stake in Stevenson but it just feels like he will get his 10 carries. He was also receiving 2-3 targets per game compared to Hendersons exact same target share through 8 weeks (18 targets over 8 games)

Stevenson is averaging 3.4 YPC and Henderson is averaging 4.9 YPC.

Henderson has 5 TDs to Stevensons's 3 and Henderson has more explosive plays by far on far less touches.

What are you seeing that nobody else is seeing?

Stevenson has sucked.

Beware of the coach, Stevenson isn’t going to just become a bench player, I d9 think Henderson gets more of the load, but, Stevenson will get his share.

Of course not, we all recognize that. He's also not as talented as Henderson and the coach has eyeballs just like we do.

Stevenson will get plenty of touches still.

I liked Rham. A few years ago.

This year, fumbles, no house calls and 3.4ypc does not cut it.

The last 2 weeks, Henderson has top 5 rb feels. Drake magic was not really needed.

oh my, I didn’t even see this, but if you look at the rest of the season schedule for the Patriots against run defenses. One of the easiest!

I am guessing Rham has turf toe. Maybe he comes back next week but as a complimentary back.

Henderson is the outside runner......Rhamondre is going to remain the north/south guy & most likely inside the 5.

I’m seeing the splits through 8 games that only changed due to injury not coaching philosophy.
again, I’m hoping to be wrong

So if we all recognize that, why has there been so much debate since my comment?

The entire driving point behind what I said was that this coaching staff may not make Henderson the workhorse... meaning Stevenson will get plenty of touches. No one is saying Stevenson will be the "lead" back or that Hendersons role will suddenly be nothing after the weeks he has had. But if Stevenson approaches double digit carries each week once he is back and a couple targets out of the backfield, Henderson will not produce the same fantasy results. Henderson averaged 3.3 on 19 carries against the Jets, other RBs had 3 carries. Last week Henderson had 14, other backs had 5. He's also been under 4 ypc in more than half the Pats games.

My hope is that he continues to get double digit carries and continues to get 4+ looks in the pass game instead of the weeks where he was getting 0, but I still think he makes for a great sell high. If you can package Henderson and another player for a stud RB whose role we know for certain, then worst case scenario Stevenson never regains a role beyond handcuff status and Henderson is great but you still acquired a stud RB.

So, Stevenson will get plenty of touches, that’s all I’m saying, so, once again if you play in a league that at this time of season still has trades available shopping Henderson is a good ideal.   We agree.
