Kicks over 60

Recommended Posts

Every site has the same kicking stats.... 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+

There's been seven 60+ field goals this year, which is already an NFL record and the season ain't over. It's time to add the 60+ stat line.

100% agreed! What I'd really like to do is have field goals worth a tenth of their actual distance, ie, a 23 yarder is 2.3 (not 3), 55 yarder 5.5 (not 5), etc. For leagues using kickers it aligns better with the skilled position scoring.

in my league you get 3 points for all FG but if the FG is more than 50 you get 6 points.   its a bit overvalued but those long ball kickers become valuable in this format.

I'm sure each league has their own rules but I am thinking if its over 50 you get 4 points and over 60 you get 6 points.

We do the standard 3, 4, and 5 pts.... I wish CBS allowed the decimal points. Can't understand why they don't - seems like an easy add.

But I stupidly talked my Commish into doing a 10 point bonus on top the 5 pts for 60+ yarders. We added that rule a decade ago when it almost never happened. But even then I've regretted it ever since. There's enough dumb luck in fantasy football already. Why should a 59 yarder get 5 points, but a 60 yarder get 15 points.?.  That's ridiculous. I've tried to have the rule removed, but nobody will budge on it. My own damn fault.
