GobbleDog 1,012 Posted Tuesday at 01:54 PM Every site has the same kicking stats.... 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ There's been seven 60+ field goals this year, which is already an NFL record and the season ain't over. It's time to add the 60+ stat line.
rotisserieking 80 Posted Tuesday at 02:52 PM 100% agreed! What I'd really like to do is have field goals worth a tenth of their actual distance, ie, a 23 yarder is 2.3 (not 3), 55 yarder 5.5 (not 5), etc. For leagues using kickers it aligns better with the skilled position scoring.
Ray_T 793 Posted Tuesday at 03:23 PM in my league you get 3 points for all FG but if the FG is more than 50 you get 6 points. its a bit overvalued but those long ball kickers become valuable in this format. I'm sure each league has their own rules but I am thinking if its over 50 you get 4 points and over 60 you get 6 points.

Can't understand why they don't - seems like an easy add. But I stupidly talked my Commish into doing a 10 point bonus on top the 5 pts for 60+ yarders. We added that rule a decade ago when it almost never happened. But even then I've regretted it ever since. There's enough dumb luck in fantasy football already. Why should a 59 yarder get 5 points, but a 60 yarder get 15 points.?. That's ridiculous. I've tried to have the rule removed, but nobody will budge on it. My own damn fault. purplengold47 31 Posted Tuesday at 10:10 PM In my league, we penalized K who missed fg and PAT by 0.5 pts but I agree with you guys, they should put 60+ pts option there next yr, those kicks are special.

JagFan 194 Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM If you’re going to do that you need to make field goals under 30 yards only 2 points.

WhiteWonder 2,964 Posted 23 hours ago We are seeing more 60+ yarders than ever though because the rule changed for this season, giving teams early access to the K balls to prep them. I'm not sure how much I like the idea of a 60 yard FG being worth a touchdown, but I suppose the difference between 5 and 6 points is nothing and a 50 yarder being worth the same as a 63 yarder is silly. The yardage of the kick in tenths is the way to do it. 26 = 2.6, 62 = 6.2 etc. I do not play on any hosting platforms that have the decimal scoring option or the 60+ option that I can recall. I believe I am in one league that penalizes misses (-1) of under 40. This should probably be looked at and changed as I think we've had it as a rule since before the PAT was made longer. PAT is 33? yards... at this point if you want to penalize kickers I would penalize missed PATs only.

I do think it's a bit unfair to penalize missed 50+, but it is what it is.
LaChup 271 Posted 21 hours ago This has nothing to do with kickers, but I really would have liked to see Max Brosmer receive some sort of bonus for almost tying Nathan Peterman's record 5 interceptions in their first game. Something for us all to look at next year.

I don't think you have to... but ever since the XP moved to 33 yards, it would make more sense to have those sub 30 yard FGs be worth 2.

We’ve had this for years. Field goals start at 3 points (as regular football) then up .1 starting at 31 yards. You shouldn’t lose out on almost a full point because the holder sets the ball for 39 yards instead of
