None, at the moment.
Lost my job as a government contractor.

I was not a DEI hire. I have a specific technical skill that the lab needed at the time. I was asked to train others and was let go. It was a wise economical decision on their part.

Used to, lol!
I’m just going to go without health insurance:

  • Federal Penalty: The federal government eliminated the penalty for not having health insurance in 2019.
  • State Penalty: Georgia does not have its own state-level penalty to replace the federal one.

You can't find a job?

Just drop your insurance and pay out of pocket. It's probably cheaper unless you have serious health issues

Not yet, but I’m confident I’ll find another.

You didn't take COBRA?  Can you still?  Very risky to go without insurance.

I felt it was too expensive. Now I’m passed COBRA. I don’t need any procedures. I knew the termination was coming so I scheduled and completed all medical screenings (mammography/colonoscopy/gyn exam). I’m healthy. 👍🏽

Gutterboy thinks procedures like a mammogram are rip offs unless you have symptoms.

COBRA is definitely very expensive.   Agree there.  However it might still be a good idea to sign up for the crappy coverage, at least to protect you somewhat from a catastrophic event.  TDS Ron mentioned car accident or some other event.

You?  I'd like you to stop with the dumb posts.

if by "us" you mean Republicans, do something to make health costs cheaper not more expensive.

I mean the people in this forum you Dolt.

For a healthy person, out of pocket can be the cheaper way to go. Especially if you have no choice because you're UNEMPLOYED.

I agree, but I’m past the 30 days limit when you can obtain COBRA. It’s been a couple of months now. I thought I would be working by now. Luckily, I saved money for a rainy day. Unfortunately, it’s getting a bit longer than I expected.

Job market is kinda tough---especially late in the year.  Glad you were smart enough to save a little for it

ObamaCare did exactly what Obama wanted it to do.  And that was to f it up so badly, we have no choice but to go government medical.

Kind of what an MRI does. Gives you a look inside the body. You can spot things that are asymptomatic. You idiot.

Yes, I know what a mammogram does.  Why did you ask me and then tell me?

So what did your brain MRI tell you?  Early dementia or just low IQ?

HC costs were going up year over year before and after Obummercare. It’s not Obama or Trump’s fault, our HC system is just broken.

It's because too many people don't have Insurance, which is what's driven up healthcare costs. Hospitals are stuck with the bills that the White trash and minority degenerates don't pay. If you go to the emergency room without insurance or money, they still have take you. Who pays for that? You and I do.

Illegal Aliens were a part of it, even though you'll never acknowledge it.

Are you still trying to win an argument that people get preventative MRIs?  Let me just inform you that a routine mammogram is not an MRI.

Good Lord would you just stop already.

Uninsured people and the administrative costs of private / for profit insurance is driving up HC costs. The only long-term option is single payer HC.
