Dropping to 6th isn't a big deal once firstย was off the table. Giants need massive oline help. Dartย looks like a viable option, the play time and winning has been good for him and the organization moving forward. The Giants have some real talent at the skilled positions. Making a good HC hire is so much more important than dropping a few spots in the draft. I wouldn't have a ton of confidence in that organization making a good hire but, I guess we shall see. I'd be more embarrassed of my team if they tried to lose to move up a few spots, like seeing Theo Johnson at the Knicks game Saturday night but out "sick" on Sunday was a bad look.ย Players don't want to lose and I don't want ownership to tank. Still frustrating as a fan to see your team win meaningless games to potentially hurt their future. I remember being clowned in 2020 after beating the redskins in one the last meaningless games and then winning the last to move from 2 to 4, and skins fans bragging about how they got chase young.ย We got Andrew Thomas.ย Chase young is on NO as mid edge while Andrew Thomas is locked in as a top 5 LT.ย You never know.
