They did run up against a chiefs team. But the 13 seconds was inexcusable. Derm is a defensive guy. Ive had more issue with Beane for last few seasons so not that the defense is ever stacked. But they routinely become swiss cheese in playoff losses. He ran his course, but so did Beane. I really thought they were handcuffed, stay as a pair or leave as a pair. Beane has embarrassed himself so many times in different ways. 2023 he said Rams did it wrong. Went all in not sustainable. Said hes trying to sustain success. I think ownership is being pretty short-sighted here. I get the rationale, but it's a copout, IMO.
