Week 12 Streaming TEs

Recommended Posts

With Olsen on a bye, Reed strains his right labia the week I need him to fill in. Options are dicey:

Lewis (activated from IR) - great matchup, fresh legs, did ok in first 2 games before injury

Paul - tougher matchup, RG3 blows, but might get a lot of looks

Ertz - meh...probably good for 50/60 yds and maybe a TD if lucky

ASJ - low ceiling, TD dependent, but best matchup possible

Both Fleener and Daniels ar avail in my league.

Allen should still be out this week.

One would think Fleener over Daniels but does the Bradshaw injury mean Fleener will stay in and block more? Is he known as a good blocker? I am almost thinking Daniels is the sneaky pick up. Thoughts?

Grabbed Fleener where he was available & got Paul in another. Not many serviceable options after these two other than Gresham but he was basically useless last week minus the 2 touchdown catches.

After losing J Thomas this week, and my initial thought was to take Tamme, but after looking at stats and thinking it over... I'll look elsewhere for a replacement.

I believe Tamme is going to disapoint a lot of people this week.

I'm going with Paul - but only because my other choices are Kelce, and Julius. My thinking is that because Kelce is on TNF, I can afford to chance having to play Paul because he's a Sunday afternoon start; and we may hear that JT recovers enough to start.

Is Thomas officially ruled out? I heard no practice but offical word, just that he is questionable.

He's not, but I'm in the same boat the others are in. I have Orange Julius and will be looking at options to rotate on Sat if needed. Leaning towards Lewis right now, like others, but also considering Tamme and Donnell as well.

It was between Paul and Lewis, and I ultimately decided on Lewis because I think Jax will have to pass to try to keep up with Indy and it is indoors so weather is no problem. Being six foot 7 inches helps too; great red zone target.

Honestly, I think Paul is a decent play too with Reed out. The only difference as I see it, he may not be as good a red zone target.

What you think of Tamme if OJ can't go

Honestly, Miami's stingy defense eats up TEs.

Run away......

As previously mentioned, Paul seems decent enough to me with no Reed lurking around the corner. He may not get a td, but he usually gets some yardage. 60-80 yds seems doable.

For thew truly desperate, John Carlson. Larry Fitz might not play, and Mike Floyd still sucks, his 2 catch 5 target 2 miracle TD day not withstanding. That leaves John Brown and Andre Ellington. And while Seattle is death to WRs, they have given up the 9th most points to TEs this season. Since the Cards week 4 BYE, Carlson has gottten at least 4 targets in all but one game, maxing out with an 8 target game vs Dallas in week 9.So a 3 catch 35 yard day with a garbage time TD isnt out of the question.AND the Seattle Arizona game is a late game Sunday.Perfect for us JT owners in case the Broncos wait til the last minute to announce he isnt playing.

Not looking good for JT:

Broncos coach John Fox conceded Julius Thomas (questionable, ankle) was unable to do much on the practice field Friday.

Although Thomas is listed as questionable, he's shaping up as a not-great bet to play versus Miami. "We could have called him limited, but it was closer to DNP," were Fox's words. Officially, Thomas is a game-time decision. We don't expect to have a great idea of his status until just before Sunday's game.

OJ owner with D. Walker on bench.

Wait it out? Or grab the likes of Lewis?

Rudolph has scared me off of Lewis. How many snaps will they give him

I think I may grab Paul. Rudolph on the hate list, big goose egg last week, crappy QB, crappy team....I have very little confidence in him until he plays an actual game with stats.

Dancing with Paul and Tamme, deciding which to take home.....

Tamme with great QB and offense, had 10 targets last week (limited talent)

Paul with crappy team and offense (WR talent playing TE)

I think this is one of those cases of doing the opposite of what everything indicates you should do. I've been holding Paul in case OJ is a go. I think I need to go Paul regardless.

Both available for me also. Miami is good against TEs which leans me towards Paul.

Since I have OJ, I think it's a disadvantage to have Tamme not knowing status until last minute and how confident would I even be if OJ started I may not play him anyway. I think I may just make the move to Paul now.
