Voltaire 4,558 Posted May 15, 2018 11.03 King of all Media Howard Stern TV/Radio Personality The funniest thing I ever heard was on the Howard Stern show. Howard was looking for people with personal stories from people who hate Gilbert Gottfried and Amy Heckerling's babysitter calls up and goes off on Gilbert for telling insensitive Holocaust and underage girl jokes. Gilbert takes the bait and returns fire on her in a memorable cascade of hilarity with Howard at his best refereeing/coordinating the discussion. I was dying of laughter. I couldn' t breathe. I was laughing so hard I had to pull my car over to the side of the road since I was a danger to myself and other drivers. Years later I found the recording of that crossfire perserved on the internet. I've listened to it a few times now since then. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W8--pRKs8I&t=124s

ZeroTolerance 582 Posted May 15, 2018 11.6 - Marbury v Madison - Court Case The Marbury v. Madison decision expanded the power of the Supreme Court in general, by announcing that the 1789 law which gave the Court jurisdiction in this case was unconstitutional. Marbury thus lost his case, which the Court said he should have won, but, in explaining its inability to provide Marbury the remedy it said he deserved, the Court established the principle of judicial review, i.e., the power to declare a law unconstitutional.
