It was a nothing event before a signature event and a major. He wanted to take the week off but it’s a tournament he grew up going to as a kid so they made a deal about back maintenance or something.

I agree, ownership should be criticized in NY and it’s not. Just saying I think the New York spotlight and media criticism is real, but only for players. Would be nice if owners took their deserved lumps

I think tough media is probably still true but it's all on the players, not the ownership. Woody Johnson rarely gets criticized. Cashman has survived because he's basically viewed as part of the ownership. The whole NY thing, I think is about the spotlight and scrutiny for players and there is definitely some truth to it. Sonny Gray is a perfect example. He's been a great pitcher everywhere else.

some teams on that list have massive payrolls and can't win. I became a Rays fan because I was tired of the Yankees buying every player available starting in the early 2000s. They still couldn't win it all, but as I got older I at least started to respect the teams that tried by spending. Much better than the teams who could spend but don't because they care more about the bottom line than winning. But if you're going to spend, my god... at least have some sort of plan in place to actually win. The Giants are a great example this year of spending for the sake of spending. And of course, the Mets... although I do think the Mets can be a better team this season than people expected after last years disaster and the dumping they had to do.

LIV Basketball …. They will play 2 15 minute halves and regular seasons will be 30 games. 30 minute games, 30 game seasons so XXX Basketball

Glad to hear it! admittedly I learned it from another video that I couldn’t quite find that talked specifically about shoulder tilt, but I know you are smart enough to get that in this guys video the shoulder tilt comes from his focus on head and weight back. It’s the same thing. Like I mentioned, my head is behind the ball. my stance is not as wide as his, though I have the flexibility to do it when I want. In the vid I linked, he mentioned how moving the ball up in your stance can accentuate a left miss and this is definitely the case for me. So I have to be extra mindful to rotate my hips through impact and get my belt buckle pointing at my target line

Where are you pulling your numbers from after I made my last post I did some digging and it looked like the disparity between NBA and NHL was roughly 3% based on the different fonts of your quotes, it looks like maybe you’re cherry picking from two different sources

I would think statistically the NBA and NHL are very close in terms of home team win %. I feel like I have read that baseball is much less advantage which I find surprising for a number of reasons including the fact that parks have unique dimensions which home players should be more used to, especially in terms of outfield defense as well as the fact the baseball season is longer so a homestand should mean more in terms of travel fatigue.

it's sports. they play a 7 game series for a reason, so that the favored team has less of a chance of being bounced based on one or two bad nights. The Rays won 100 games in 2021, winning the AL East by 8 and lost to the Red Sox in 4 in the playoffs (best of 5)

the NBA has many issues. Boston losing a game isn't one of them. Overrated team in the first place. (a very good team but still overrated)
