I've been assured by @squistionand @The Real timschochet that all trans folks are that way from birth, and it has nothing to do with having a father that most likely abused him/her, like so many other trans folks with history of abuse and other psychological comorbidities. I mean, why would a girl who was sexually abused develop a hatred for her gender? It makes no sense, it must be genetic! Let's not treat the underlying issue, let's just lop off some body parts and give the parents some SJW points. -
I don't understand how you can differentiate "my" conclusion from that of the report, since I merely posted that of the report. Here, I'll post the end of the results again for you: That being said, it's clear that you don't understand my position, or choose not to. My position is: until recently, when we started celebrating being trans, the only people who were trans were... actual trans people, with gender dysphoria, who were willing to go through the long, arduous process of confirming their diagnosis, and the life-changing medical acts to change their bodies. If studies exist which show almost universal happiness with transition (you seem allergic to links on this topic BTW), I'm confident they come from this older cohort, and were likely past puberty and into adulthood before medical interventions. Since then, we've begun celebrating being trans, have had hundreds of gender clinics pop up, have had reports of less than arduous evaluation of people including young people, and lo and behold, we've had an astronomical increase in "trans" people. Particularly girls going through puberty, with the often uncomfortable growth of breasts, unwanted attention from boys, weird feelings from estrogen (side note: it's not surprising that, when such girls go on testosterone, they feel more confident). As such, it is not surprising that people from this latter, younger cohort show no statistically significant reduction in mental issues. This is completely consistent with "my" conclusion (i.e., that of the report), which is that the vast majority of people identifying as trans these days are NOT truly gender dysphoric. I would like to see us go back to how it was (I know, I know, old conservative guy), as I described above. I understand that it is hard on true trans people because they wouldn't be celebrated like they are now, but here's the unfortunate thing: life isn't always fair. They've been dealt a hand where their brain thinks they are in the wrong sex body. You can not like describing it as a mental issue, but that's what it is. That is why some people object to ANY medical intervention. Personally, I don't fall into that camp, for true trans adults -- I don't begrudge them seeking peace, unless we find some cure, which some gender dysphoric people might prefer. What doesn't make sense is changing society to conform to a mental illness: men in women's sports, men in women's spaces like prisons, spas, etc., transitioning kids just because they feel that way this month, etc. I'm confident I've wasted my time, because you are convinced that this astronomical (and growing) association with trans is all legit. I've explained above how this defies reason, and the data in the link bears that out, but you will refer to your alleged vast majority of experts, and we'll get nowhere.

During Biden's presidency, he signed an executive order that allowed trans athletes to compete in women's and girls sports, attempted to rewrite Title IX to allow it and even tried to punish states for taking their own steps to combat the issue. Since Biden left office, Democrats in Congress and state governments have done plenty to combat Republican attempts to address the issue. -
More like cutting billions to Soros, Clintons, the Taliban, Gates and left-wing activists. The vast vast vast majority of money goes towards fraudulant activities. The only healthcare USAID cares about is funding abortions and trans surgery. They spend billions on propaganda campaigns around the world to select corrupt leaders. They start wars and regime changes. Less than 1 percent goes for feeding people or providing legit health care. Their #1 goal is population reduction. The last thing anyone of those bastards want to do is save lives.

DOGE is creating these searches that don't really work. Search for the word "Gay" in these documents. It finds references to the Enola Gay. The Enola Gay was a bomber that dropped one of the bombs on Japan. Has NOTHING to do with homosexuality, trans rights, etc. But these "searchers" see the word gay and immediately flag it and remove it. Kind of a ridiculous way to search and "find stuff" to remove, IMO. Search is highly flawed, but is being done by people named "BigBallz" or some other 22 year old kid that has NO idea that the Enola Gay was a plane in WW2. -

It’s how we got the confusion over trans mice. They already had to try to rehire the people studying the bird flu, because they didn’t understand it was under the USAID umbrella. I'm blessed that I witnessed very little of that and that my mental health is sound, but you should develop some education, maturity and empathy on this sibject matter instead of engaging in childish thread diarrhea and secretly scrolling Grindr for trans hookups. -

This is a good example of what goes on: - Donald celebrates a child who has overcome adversity in the face of cancer. Dems sit on their hands. - Probably a load of government funded treatment and research went into helping that child fight. - FBID Wray does the same thing, no one notices. - Cancer research funding is cut at least once in January & likely again many times over in the god knows what Musk & his team are doing. I don't want to debate any of these issues (please). Thing is we all support fighting cancer. That's a common value. Now is this something that we all feel should be top-5 on our priorities in who we vote for president? Above immigration? Above rooting out the Deep State? Above eliminating our debt? Above fighting trans right & DEI policies? -

I'm describing a scenario where there are no trans women in actual women's safe spaces, no medical transing of kids, and parents are kept apprised of trans discussions in schools. I think most of us knuckle-dragging MAGA cultists are OK with that. Or are you concerned with the welfare bud light cans? -

I understand what you are saying, and I'm telling you that it's possible to support one thing and oppose the inevitable slippery slope thing it leads to. Moving on from this somewhat, I'm sure you'll recall the hard progressive push to call gay unions "marriages," and the similarly strong objection from opponents. The reasoning from the progressive side is that if you draw any differences, in language or otherwise, then they wouldn't quite be "married" the same as hetero couples. I think we see that now in the trans progressive movement. Bathrooms, spas, prisons, sports... progressives insist that trans "women" share these spaces. Otherwise, they aren't quite women. I think it also explains the conundrum that progressive people have in defining a "woman." Because to define it, you kinda need a word that is specific to a biological woman. Let's say we use "female" as such a word. A woman would thus be "a person who identifies as a female." But nono, they can't do that, because now female is a difference. Anyway, just my thoughts. -

In seriousness, we really are as divided as we've ever been. Trump ripped into Biden and the Democrats at many points and they responded with hooting and insults throughout the speech. There's real animosity. And I feel that way myself. The anger and rage. After all the bullsh*t lawfare they put President Trump through, the left has really honed him into someone anxious to get things done and giving zero focks about them and their priorities. There is no playing nice with these people. I share the opinion that the Democrats are vile and evil scum. Just ignore them, run them over, then back up and run them over a second time. I know its not a healthy way to run the country or feel about the opposition but its where we are since both sides just kept escalating until the good guys won. And now every day is great. Its just so ecstatic and liberating to see President Trump cut through seemingly impenetrable and permanent fixtures of bureaucracy and leftoid rule. The swamp is actually being drained and DEI, trans-insanity, and wokeness under seige and rooted out. Need another eight years of JD Vance or Ron DeSantis after this to make every ember of this garbage go cold, salt over leftoidism, and make the cultural shift permanent. The leftoids aren't dead yet but their popularity is the lowest its ever been, their ability to censor seriously curtailed, and the power/stature of the institutions they've co-opted been reduced. Have to make sure these reforms take hold and succeed.
