Golden One Center in Sacramento has gender neutral restrooms. I had to go really bad once and I was not willing to wait in the ladies room line, so I used one. It had a commode as well as a urinal, BFD. One room, locking door, so one person at a time, which I kind of felt was more of a waste of space, but whatever. I think it had a changing table too, so def more of a "family" restroom, but with a new name tag. I got a couple of weird looks when I came out, that's for sure. But in my mind, they are use for everyone. I needed to go. If they are ONLY for trans, then call them trans. Gender neutral implies ANYONE can use them. In terms of smell, bathrooms smell. Meh.

Twerking is a trans thing? -
This trans is also the suspect in an earlier murder of a trans woman.

I mean someone talking out of turn in class is far less serious an issue. I wouldn't call their parents after the first time but obviously a sexual assault is different. My point is this- all stats show most abuse of kids is by someone who is not a stranger to them. Most sexual assaults (something like 70% according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics) occur in a residence. The best I can find is that 10% of sexual assaults occur in a closed, public location. Bathrooms would be a part of this I'd assume. The simple fact is you are considerably less likely to be sexually attacked in a bathroom than anywhere else and I'd venture the level of trans assaults in a bathroom is relatively small. Any number more than 0 is bad- but like...we accept guns right...or any other number of bad things where the number is more than zero.

They made it worse by ignoring the whole situation . I kind of think people wore just as mad or even more when they went totally silent when all the “ frat boy” stuff hit. Now you had the trans issue plus insulting their customers

You claimed I was wrong about this yesterday. So, please, as I said yesterday, dig beyond activist websites. Danger, you may get triggered to also find out that some stats show that trans people are LESS prone to be victims of homocide than the general pop. Sure seems like grounds for their own Remembrance Day for sure.

They fired the head of marketing who was in charge of this. The public got out their feelings about that dude Dylan and trans people. The woke culture seems to be dying down. I believe a point was made, the message was received and things can normalize again.

25th Anniversary: Transgender Day of Remembrance (11.20.1999)...
Hardcore troubadour replied to posty's topic in The Geek Club
If you took out the tranny on tranny crime and violence against trannies by their non trans sex partners and Johns there isn’t a lot to talk about. I guess their pimps throw a beat down on them too. -

What is it for any way? To remember that most trans violence is perpetrated by other members of the alphabet squad and they are exponentially safer around conservatives? -
Kids these days *want* to be autistic for some focking reason. Same with ADHD and, yes, being trans. They think it makes them cool or interesting. Also gives them an excuse or victim card to fall back on. It’s pretty ridiculous, tbh

If you voted trump , but stand against God, you might not like some of the positive changes to come in schools, gone, nasty gross trans reading to children, in , Oklahoma orders Bibles for use in public school classrooms. Oh you angry atheist trump supporters. Indeed. Romans 8:15. For you have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ABBA , Father. Amen Thanks

For all I know I pass trans people all the time without realizing it, so I am not claiming any particular trans ID skills. This particular trans was clearly a dude in transition and looked exactly like a guy with tiits dressed like a woman. It’s possible I was wrong. Unlike LC, when I encounter a tranny I don’t check for the twig and berries.

Posters here have argued that they are “grooming” kids to become trans. Are you disputing that or are you just saying “well they’re not telling the whole entire world to become trans”?

JFC what a crybaby. Sorry Butker hurt your feels with his speech at a private school that wasn’t intended for you. And, as usual, you’re off target with your assessment of criticism of trans ideology. Literally no one has an issue with it because they think trans people are telling everyone “to live like them”. You are right about one thing, cultists are the dumbest people. Too bad you don’t realize you’re in smack dab in the middle of the libtard cultists. Please continue your Gutter/Boyo circle jerk.

I also don’t agree with the phrase “militant trans”. The use of the word “militant” here is ALWAYS used by conservatives against any group seeking equal treatment and an end to discrimination. Before “militant trans” there were “militant blacks”, “militant feminists”, “militant gays” etc. The term is used as a perjorative to characterize the group as angry and extremist. Which I don’t believe is the case.

Tim, you can’t gloss over your desire to keep people with pen!ses out of women’s spaces as a “slight exception”. It’s literally a cornerstone of their affirmation. I’m guessing that Rowling doesn’t use pronouns, and you do. Except for that, you’re probably on par with her anti-trans stances. I really think this trans topic has “liberal” Tim at odds with “common sense” Tim.

https://twitter.com/AhmedBaba_/status/1789815922787500063 JK Rowling created a fictional world in her head consisting of magic, mythical creatures, and a potion that allows you to change identities. But, in spite of her vast imagination, she can’t possibly muster the capacity to accept that maybe, just maybe, gender is a spectrum. What a sad, weird obsession she has with the trans community. Like why? Just leave them alone. I see anti-trans Twitter found this post. My point is that JK Rowling has such a wide imagination but an incredibly closed mind. To invalidate gender science and an entire community with absolute certainty based on fear-mongering tropes is bigoted.

Cultural existential threat: Marxism and Moral Relativism
Fnord replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Both. There was some concern at first. But my staff don't hesitate to complain about any number of things, and they haven't complained about this. You should have heard the screaming and bitching when the Muslims were washing their feet in the toilets during Ramadan, or when the food service workers were taking breaks in there. They have zero qualms bringing up issues. Not a peep about the trans woman sharing their locker room, though. It's possible that the trans individual is changing at different times out of courtesy, I don't know. -

I understand my own posts. You don't, because you have zero nuance: First, I specifically listed women's safe spaces and sports. You apparently label such a position as "transphobic." This is exactly what the Tumblr teen girl mafia did to JK Rowling when she had the audacity to take similar positions. It is entirely consistent with your quick trigger use of such labels. Second, I stated that the specific items I listed are not in and of themselves cultural existential threats, but rather indications of a trajectory toward increasing moral relativism, which is IMO such a threat. Heck, I supported fully transitioned trans use of their preferred bathrooms in the past few pages of this thread. I look forward to "of course it's about trans because that's your morality concern" insights. -
University presidents won’t condemn antisemitism

I think one of those instances you would agree includes what the student endure in their congressional testimony in RLLD's video. Would you agree that what these students are describing/enduring is significantly worse than what gay/trans people in any capacity endure. If not have you got something similar. it would seem to me that the bullying is significantly worse for conservative and Jewish students on college campuses than what happens to trans people in any capacity, anywhere, but that may be a limb too far. Have you got any videos or sources of intimidation of trans people that would rival RLLD's? -

I'm not an HR Manager but I do hire and manage personnel. I hired a trans woman. FTR, I did not know she was trans until after her hire. In the interview she used her given male name. We assumed he was gay, not a she. We were concerned when we found out, and that she wanted to use the women's locker room. Long story short, she's integrated well and while there have been some minor challenges, overall it's been a positive experience. You find out that they're just people. -

For the first time EVER. I am not a Republican. What I am is tired of the Democratic parry. Tired of Trans rights. Tired of being told I get special treatment for being a white male while I work my ass off. Tired of seeing the youth of this country be brainwashed. Tired of the media being blatantly liberal and democratic leaning. Tired of having to tell straight white male candidates no simply because the company wants to hit their DEI goal of LITERALLY ANYONE but them. I have been an independent all my life. I voted for Ross Perot, Ralph Nader and Gary Johnson. I even voted TWICE for Obama because the Republican candidates just did not do it for me. Since the time I last voted the Democratic party has made it clear to me they do not want me in their party. I am the devil. I am privileged because I have a low chance of being shot by the cops during a traffic stop. Because people who look like me enslaved blacks 200 years ago and now IIIIIII need to pay the price. The democrats are getting exactly what they deserve for letting a small fraction of their party drive them into a bloodbath. If they can get back to the center they will be able to recover. If not we may be a 1 party system for a long time going forward. The craziest thing about ALL of this is that the DNC created Trump. THEY did this. Donald Trump should never be a thing. He NEVER wanted to be president or thought he could be president. I am 100 percent convinced he wanted to add another title to his name. "Former presidential contender" something he could hang his hat on forever. Thennnnn the DNC in their INFINATE wisdom saw him as a weak opponent and instead of putting their weight behind the BEST candidate they pushed who THEY wanted in Clinton. Bernie would have SMOKED Trump. I have zero doubt. THIS time they tried to sneak one by the American people(which some people are likely to be prosecuted on this for conspiracy) and run a focking vegetable. Then they pivoted to an unlikeable DEI hire who was not smart enough to separate herself from biden and his policies. The Democrats deserve what they get. They brought it all on themselves through bad policies and just dumb move after dumb move.

Cultural existential threat: Marxism and Moral Relativism
jerryskids replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
I appreciate the response. Regarding the trans, in my OP I specifically said sports and safe spaces. Locker rooms, spas, prisons (odd to call that a "safe space," but you get it). I said nothing about using pronouns or preferred names, which BTW I've done in the past with trans people I've known. To me that is common courtesy to an individual, but I see that as a personal decision which is NOT a moral absolute in either direction, and as such I oppose any newspeak legislation, for instance. I also agree with most of your Palestinian bullets, except perhaps your last one. I have no problem with the moral absolutism that the things I laid out regarding the treatment of women (and LGBTQ) are morally wrong. We could also discuss what makes a human "garbage," but I don't want to go down that rathole. Let's just say that I believe that the vast majority of Palestinians, other than the youngest of children, have been brainwashed beyond redemption into beliefs which are anathema to being a peaceful, contributing society. I value life so I don't support wanton killing of them. As I type this, I think the real challenge to my OP premise is: who defines the moral absolutes? This brings in the concept of a Judeo-Christian underpinning -- even if you don't believe in the God part, the ten commandments and the teachings of Jesus are a pretty good basis for a society IMO.
