  1. And? Being trans or antifa implies violence. These are mentally ill people. They're also all liberals. Violence is a FEATURE of the left, not an exception. Though, they will gaslight you and say that America has a "far-right" problem, but everyone knows that it's bunk. We have a far-left problem. 100% and irrefutable. And for those of you who are going to jump in here and use the SPLC as "evidence" to try and disprove that - you've already lost the debate.
  2. I can see a distinction between the two situations and why in a group that includes a trans, it might not sit well with everyone. And I am not confortable saying "hi guys!" to a group of women even though many consider it a "gender neutral" term.
  3. This is the best way to go about it, in my experience. I've been given dirty looks for saying things like "hey guys!" to a group of people that includes someone trans; that I don't understand. I don't get dirty looks when I say "hi guys!" to a group of women...
  4. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/18/opinion/supreme-court-trans-care.html?unlocked_article_code=1.P08.eIpO.tCDn4Remjkjb&smid=re-nytopinion Essay written by the mother of the kid if you're interested in learning the other side and testing your empathy.
  5. I think that just because you group a bunch of people into a long acronym, doesn't mean that the gay and trans situations are the same. There are plenty of examples where I don't think trans people should be protected. A few examples: women's prisons, women's sports (generally), customer facing positions within companies. So I don't believe in the same sort of protections for trans as given to, say, race/ethnicity. HTH
  6. I also have a friend that's transmale. New pronouns and a new name. It was difficult at first to use their new name and pronouns but after a while, it just became natural. NOW...If I come across and stranger and use the wrong pronouns, "Hello, sir!" And that person goes off or gets mad at me, it's not my fault that you literally look like a dude in a dress. If you calmly tell me, "It's actually ma'am." Ok, I'll call you that. Lilly Tino is a TikTok trans person that does this on purpose. Looks like a man with long hair that wears make up and dresses, still sounds like a man when talking. Someone says, "Thank you, sir" and the phone is out and recording the interaction...Lilly does it on purpose tho. Recently was in Disney World and used women's restrooms and TOOK PICTURES. So there's a big old up roar about the pictures because Lilly included women in the background. In a public restroom. That's just disgusting.
  7. Pretty good list, and I'm mostly in agreement. I'll nitpick #4, though. While I agree it should not be enforceable, refusing to use someone's preferred pronouns is just a dik move. Forgetting to call them by their preferred pronoun isn't quite as bad, but it's still shitty. I have a friend that's trans, and we told her that calling her a her was an insane expectation since we've known her as a him for almost 30 years. She agreed it was okay for us to say him/he/his, given how long we've known each other. But I've also accidentally called a subordinate at work he instead of she, and while she was cool about it, I felt pretty bad about it. Moral of the story is just treat others with respect, even if you think their life choices are insane.
  8. I'm okay with adults getting for it and PAYING for it with their own money (no SS, no Medicaid, not covered under military either) and as long as they conform to the rules regarding their BIRTH sex, not their FAKE sex: Trannies get the mental health treatment they need before any surgery Trannies cannot go into spaces that don't conform to their BIRTH sex/gender (sex and gender being one and the same) Trannies cannot play in sports that don't conform to their BIRTH sex/gender Trannies cannot force (by law or otherwise) the 99.999% of normal adults to call them by their fake pronouns. Trannies must immediately identify themselves as trans to potential romantic partners. This is to protect themselves from harm. Off the top of my head, that's it. Might think of some more restrictions later on, but that seems very reasonable.
  9. This could be big. This seems to be saying that trans children are not a protected class. Which might lead to saying trans adults are not a protected class.
  10. I mean I’m not sure how believing someone was born via divine intervention and later rose from the dead doesn’t conflict with science, but OK. (maybe his birth story would be a better analogy to the trans debate because biology).
  11. Is the existence of God consistent with what we know about science? I’m pointing out that it’s inconsistent to think trans folks are fake “because science” but to simultaneously believe in God.
  12. That has nothing to do with what I just said, but yes I do think she’s a bigot, not because “she doesn’t say things the way I think she should,” because her words have shown she doesn’t like trans folks in general, not just the trans folks that play in womens sports. And honestly, as I think about it more, no I truly don’t think her negative comments about trans folks in situations that have nothing to do with sports actually help her argument. Because if her ultimate goal is for all states to pass legislation to ban biological males in women’s sports, the people she should be targeting with her messaging are the Dem politicians (as most regular folk already agree with her). And to do that, she should focus on facts and data, not just inflammatory rage bait. As I said earlier, most of what she’s doing now is just riling up the people that already agree with her. It has helped her get rich though, which I think was her bigger objective.
  13. Correct. I don’t think she makes hateful posts about trans folks unrelated to sports just to back up her point about sports. I’m sure she thinks it helps that argument, but I don’t think it’s the primary reason she does it.
  14. Trans isn't a real thing. Its fake. They are crossdressers.
  15. She’s saying they’re men, that being trans is not a real thing. This was the other example I shared earlier. She called being trans a “gimmick.” https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1861564050024329515 @jerryskids tried arguing that since the post she was replying to was deleted, that it lacked the full context. But no context is needed to acknowledge that calling trans a gimmick means she’s against transgender people. Although to your question Jerry, reading the comments, it’s pretty clear the original post was about Walmart supposedly no longer selling chest binders (so not about sports). I’m guessing the post got deleted after many commenters pointed out that they were in fact still selling them. Riley makes lots of posts about trans folks but not about sports. For example she also retweets just about every story she sees of a trans person committing a crime.
  16. Sharing evidence of Riley Gaines’s past tweets are facts. She is against trans people as a whole, not just in sports. Do you disagree?

  18. Why does it matter what she was quoting? She called trans a gimmick, not sure why you need context for that. I mean I think we’re basically agreeing here. My point is she is against trans folks in general, not just in sports - you’re basically just saying she “should” do that to help her point about sports. But no, I don’t like Riley Gaines despite agreeing with her premise that men shouldn’t play women’s sports. Sorry if that triggers you.
  19. Calling trans a “gimmick” isn’t “anything of substance”? Be serious. Sure, it’s “in her best interest.” But I don’t want to hear people say nonsense like “she only cares about keeping them out of women’s sports.”
  20. Hey @TBayXXXVII, are you gonna admit that Gaines doesn’t just argue about sports (and locker rooms), that she has also insulted trans folks for things that have nothing to do with sports?

I love how every time there is a shooting the magas start blaming the liberal trans shooter only to find out it's a Republican and they scatter like cockroaches
