No, if you got a therapist to help your son deal with the reality of your split from your wife, that wouldn’t be abuse. If however you forced your son to undergo therapy to try and convince him that you really didn’t split from your wife, that would be abuse. And that’s exactly what you’d be trying to get your son to do in the scenario you described- accept an unreality. Here is the disconnect between what you believe and what medical experts tell us: nobody can talk your son into becoming trans. If your son is trans, nobody can talk your son out of it. Any attempt to do so is a form of abuse. -

No it doesn’t. They are reversing the correlation. It is the gay and trans that creates the abuse. The abuse comes less from inside factors such as the specific personality of the parents, and much more from outside factors like the conservative antagonism towards gay and trans, the belief in the face of all evidence that trans is a mental disorder, etc. -

Anecdotally, the one trans kid I knew fairly well (friend of my daughter) was a boy who lived in a focked up, abusive home. I thought he was crying out for help, but it wasn't my place to say. I learned that a year or two after I last saw him that he went back to being a boy. I don't know if his family life improved. I have a hard time believing that he is the only one. As to your statement specifically, Tim's link showed the correlation. That's how we got here. -

If my son comes to me and says he’s gay I say cool. If he comes to me and says he’s trans I pull him from that school and get him serious psychological help. I have yet to meet a single trans who doesn’t have major psychological issues -

Yes. Really. You think that a parent is going to up and start being abusive because their kid is trans? That is not how the world works. Abusive people do not just randomly start being abusive. They have a pattern and have always shown signs of being abusive. Likely abused themselves. To think anything else is just dumb and not what patterns of abuse show. -
This isn't really ________ v. Trump. This is Trump Adoration v. Trump Hate against the backdrop of traditional Democratic and Republican values and ideas. Sure, both sides are hyper charged by their Project 2025 and "OmG ThE TrANs!!!!" whining....but this is still about traditional values. I don't think the D's are at the point where they don't think Biden can win. I think they're at the point where they're looking to see if there's an easier path to victory with another candidate. To that, there probably is. I don't think there's a ardent Biden supporter who will NOT vote in this election if Biden is replaced...because it is about Trump. A late move swerve does several things tactically: It will have wasted some of Trump's time and money on Biden; he'll have to redirect his attack platform on the fly a bit; while the Democrats won't. Trump is still Trump while Shapiro or Moore or Kelly are not Biden. It gives them the "too old to hold" card now; unless they nominate Bernie Sanders. It's a bit of an overrrated card...but people still care. It might improve the standing with a particular state or demographic at the voting booths. The Shark move is for Biden to back out himself and allow someone else to take his place.

This isn't about me or my politics. It's about a baby that disagreed with a new law, and decided to move 2 companies and all of his employees 1600 miles across the country because of it. That is childish and dumb, and yes he's a baby. With complete disregard to all of his employees, he doesn't like the law, so they all have to suffer. They have to move to a state where abortion is illegal because he doesn't like a law that protects trans kids. How petty can you get? And it's personal for him. He doesn't like trans people. He disowned his own daughter for being trans. That's being a baby. My outlook on things is that people shouldn't let their hurt feelings or hatred of others get in the way of doing what's right. You think that's wrong with America? You're clueless. A real leader, a father, does what's right for the good of others. They don't change the course of thousands of lives for the worse over petty disagreements and personal hurt feelings. -

You know as we watched that leaked internal discussion at Disney where they are talking about putting alphabet content in all their movies, one speaker after the other mentioned how they each have trans kids and I thought "What are the odds that each of them have trans kids?" It occurred to me that the odds were 100%. These well indoctrinated ideological freaks are literally incapable of raising normal kids.

And now, when some black player whose name they don’t know because they never watched a WNBA game in their lives, fouls Caitlin Clark by smacking her full force in the back of the head, should leftists side with Caitlin, since she’s the only reason they’re pretending to watch the games in the first place, or should they Google the name of the black player and side with her so they don’t have to admit it was their flagrantly racist behavior that made black what’s-her-name clock Caitlin because what’s-her-name has been playing her nameless heart out with a work ethic and skill that raises women’s basketball to a level nowhere near the men’s game, and no one’s been watching her all that time, because she’s in the WNBA. And what about trans people? Then all the leftists’ dilemmas could be solved by watching black men play basketball and calling it the WNBA thus supporting black people, trans people and women’s sports which will finally rise to the level of men’s sports by being sports played by men. I always get a kick out of different groups having a problem with certain comics. Its focking jokes for crying out loud. If you dont like the jokes then turn the channel. How many Italians piss and moan over an Italian joke? Ever see a Polish guy get up and punch a guy for telling a Polish joke? What's with some of the other groups? They know its supposed to be for laughs right? Its not gays or trannys or women who have a problem with these comics. Its certain people who want to cry. Because plenty of people from those groups have no issue or even come out to those shows to laugh. But its masked as "trans community feels this" or "women feel this". No its certain people who don't understand it is a comedy routine.
