Probably to prevent the relatives of the victims of being subjected to any more grief. Or perhaps not to stir up any more hatred (like against trans folks if this thread is any indication). -

No, no proof of that. But there have so few trans related mass shootings (less than 1% in the last 5 years I would guess) there is not enough data to determine if this is a causal factor. -
When you removed the radical trans activists from controlling medical models, you get a rationale approach to caring for children. ________< The NHS Ends the "Gender-Affirmative Care Model" for Youth in England The gender-clinic model of care has been replaced with holistic support and appropriate care. Following extensive stakeholder engagement and a systematic review of evidence, England’s National Health Service (NHS) has issued new draft guidance for the treatment of gender dysphoria in minors, which sharply deviates from the “gender-affirming” approach. The previous presumption that gender dysphoric youth <18 need specialty “transgender healthcare” has been supplanted by the developmentally-informed position that most need psychoeducation and psychotherapy. Eligibility determination for medical interventions will be made by a centralized Service and puberty blockers will be delivered only in research protocol settings. The abandonment of the "gender-affirming" model by England had been foreshadowed by The Cass Review's interim report, which defined "affirmative model" as a "model of gender healthcare that originated in the USA." guidelines do not mention surgery, as surgery has never been a covered benefit under England’s NHS for minors. The new NHS guidelines represent a repudiation of the past decade’s approach to management of gender dysphoric minors. The “gender-affirming” approach, endorsed by WPATH and characterized by the conceptualization of gender-dysphoric minors as “transgender children” has been replaced with a holistic view of identity development in children and adolescents. In addition, there is a new recognition that many gender-dysphoric adolescents suffer from mental illness and neurocognitive difficulties, which make it hard to predict the course of their gender identity development. Following extensive stakeholder engagement and a systematic review of evidence, England’s National Health Service (NHS) has issued new draft guidance for the treatment of gender dysphoria in minors, which sharply deviates from the

This idea that children can self-disgnosis their condition which leads them down the path of radical hormonal treatments and possible disabilitating surgeries is the most asinine practice in modern medicine. The amazing thing is there were Doctors in England, France and Sweeden who has stood up to this radical craziness, but nobody talks about that here. England has shutdown every gender clinic in the country except one and adapted tougher standards before treatments are given. But good luck reading about it or finding it on a Google search here in the US. Unless you know precisely what you are looking for, all the stories and search results will be from radical trans activists spouting their lies. We are being manipulated by big tech, media and our educational system.

Biden has done nothing to add these jobs. The economy continues to rebound from the Covid years but not because of anything Biden did or didn’t do. Presidents have very little power to create either short term prosperity or short term economic woes. This constant giving Biden credit or blaming him is lazy, dumb thinking IMO. Long term effects are different and here a President’s actions are far more palpable. We are only beginning to suffer from Donald Trump’s disastrous tariffs and rejection of the Trans Pacific Partnership the results will be bad for years to come no matter what Biden does; unfortunately Biden has done little to lift these tariffs which makes the situation even worse.

Didn't you read the other posts? Somebody posted that non-binary = "under the trans umbrella" so therefore anybody lgbtq is a tranny. makes perfect sense. -

Yes, because gay, lesbian and trans people are the only ones that have ever been bullied and picked on and are the only ones that have ever suffered any hardship. Everyone else has had a unicorns and rainbows type of life. Get the f*** out of here with that b******* excuse. It's the standard go-to cop out the left always uses whenever they're cornered with facts and data. I guarantee you numerous people have had it worse then a tranny in the USA. The fact of the matter is, is that trannies are mentally ill. Most of them are. You have to be because you're in a constant state of civil war between your body and your mind. How could you not be? We need to stop catering to fantasies and mental illness, and start treating it as the mental illness it is. It is not something to be celebrated or promoted. These people are literally shooting up schools. -

Got to be trans, as the hatred and transphobia at times reaches almost demented proportions. -

Congrats on your strawman. I never said that about LBG. It is the T community and this mass rush to transition young children which is increasing mental illness and causing a big problem The whole hate crime bs is a red herring. Gays and lesbians are far more healthy and well adjusted than trans are and they would be subjected to similar ridicule. And 98 percent of those confused kids would just discover their sexuality whether it would be gay. straight or Bi if you just let them go through puberty without transitioning them. -

Thanks. The police haven’t identified the shooter yet. Seems a little premature to assume he was trans, but that’s where we are now. -

Indeed. They have already used it as an opportunity to do some more trans bashing, which apparently was an attempt at humor. -

The OP’s article and many Geeks act like Chapelle is a free speech martyr. There are some libs bashing Dave because they don’t like the trans stuff. But he’s also just not that funny anymore and I saw that as a huge fan of his show. Both things can be true. -

That's fair. I meant not so much that they didn't like him more, but think he's even funnier now that he's taking shots there. You are right though, it's more the left having 0 tolerance for discussion about that topic. I can't think of a more toxic topic for a comedian or speaker to address. Maybe if Chapelle was doing jokes about Israel, maybe? What I find interesting is he does a lot of jokes about them, but if you actually watch the whole special or a few of them, anybody with a brain can tell where they are coming from and it's not hatred - e.g. his story about the trans comedian. I think he has one of the best descriptions of the issue with his LGBTQ in a car bit as well. Like most things, people just rely on a 20clip online and look to get pissed off instead of actually trying to understand another POV or consume it all in context. -

Google his name and tell me how many rightie articles sing his praise. Its 95% bashing. It is quite obvious the lib bashers of him being unfunny do so over his content. If he was the exact same amount of funny right now but without trans jokes, lefties wouldn't say a word about how he has fallen off. Theyd probably flip script and say hes still as good as ever. -

For every liberal 2 cent vanity blogger roasting Chapelle there’s a rightie singing his praises because he makes fun of trans people. I’d say Dave is winning at staying relevant because he’s not doing it by being funny anymore. -

I’m a longtime fan of Chapelle dating back to his show. There are no doubt people bashing his show because they don’t like the subject matter. There are also people defending him only because they like trans jokes. But his new show is objectively not that funny. -

Haven't watched this one. But thought his last couple were solid. If it was any other comic that may be heading over the hill, no one would say anything or care. It is quite clear media and people are bashing his decline as a cloak for having a problem with his subject matter. Any other comic without trans jokes wouldn't get a mention here, in rolling stone or any other "medias". They would slowly fade into the night. So he is sorta winning. -

I watched it last night. It was just OK - definitely not Dave’s best but I laughed a few times. There were a handful of trans and disabled jokes that weren’t offensive but also not that funny. Nothing to get worked up about. Id give it a B-. -

I think Chapelle will be just fine. I watched the special the other night and laughed a bit. The stuff on trans people was on par with his other two. I thought maybe between his special and the new Gervais stand up, the handicapped community would be upset, but maybe they can take a joke better? -

Children are going to pay the price, Christian groups slam Mike DeWine veto of trans surgery ban. Hey those Red Team lovers, this Mike DeWine represents you, you fools. Why do we keep fighting to vote for the criminals is shocking to me, and on this board the debates for who’s side is better, no side is better what you are fighting over id who’s side isn’t as bad. Fock them all. They are on the same team, and this trash is proof. Ps please excuse my language, this is just simple prof that the governments of this country and this world are working hard to destroy not to protect. -
