80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals- Just added- LA Riots
kilroy69 replied to avoiding injuries's topic in The Geek Club
1-5 for me hit home. I did not vote FOR Trump. I voted against the democrats. I do not care who it is. I likely will never vote democrat again after the shitt they have pulled over the last 10 years. They go out of their way to be on the wrong side of things. Then get super pisssed off when people do not want to follow. 4/5 is something I am never going to get behind with something like 10 nieces/great nieces. The "trust the science" people suddenly are so dumb on this issue. I literally do not care if your name is barny and you want to be called Betsy. Does not matter at all to me. If that is what make YOU happy. Go for it. But understand the world does not bend to YOU. You do no get to go to places women go. You do not get to play sports with women and expect the rest of us to pretend not to notice you are bigger, faster and stronger. That is simply not fair OR safe to women/girls. All of these people that keep coming out to support Trans Athletes never had to compete against them or to have to change in a locker room with them. Funny how that works. Easy to say when you never had to look across as a woman and see some dude you have no chance of beating. "oh but only ____ percent of trans athletes play sports. You are blowing it out of proportion." Is that ____ a 0? If not, the percentage is too high. If you believe that anything more than 0 is ok, I can never support anything you do as a party. You actively are trying to put women in danger because of your rabid support of trans people. -

I am on record saying that trans (male) should not be allowed to compete against girls/women. But I don't get the obsession of starting new threads about this constantly in this forum. -

She’s not even saying to allow biological males in women’s sports, in fact she specifically suggests a trans-only division (which seems impossible unless there’s way more trannies). She’s just saying you don’t need to be a bigoted POS about it like Gaines: -

Seems that white people are treated differently by Summit public schools in California . “You get presented with, on equal merits, like a white person or a black person or whatever. Yeah, we're going with the black person,” revealed Jonathan Ferrer, Director of Human Resources for Summit Public Schools, a charter network operating in California and Washington, to an OMG hidden camera, admitting to employment practices that violate federal and state anti-discrimination laws. During the hidden camera investigation, Ferrer acknowledged that hiring decisions are often made based on race. He explained further that hiring is evaluated in terms of the school’s perceived cultural needs, adding, “Who do we feel is best for kids right now in the context of that school site or that classroom? So if it’s a person of color, great. If it’s a trans teacher, great.” Ferrer also discussed how the district’s DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) priorities impact candidate selection. When asked if there are certain quotas they try to meet, he explained, “Obviously we have a lot of kids that identify as LGBTQ, maybe even trans. So we have one trans teacher in our district… and so I think it’s just culturally, we just naturally look for those folks.” Ferrer also admitted that political ideology plays a role in who is and isn’t hired. When asked if Summit Public Schools would ever hire someone who supports Donald Trump, Ferrer bluntly replied, “I don’t think we would hire them.” He elaborated that the school uses DEI-based interview questions to filter out candidates who do not align with the district’s values. “We do have DEI questions built into our selection process,” Ferrer said. “We have a rubric… if they say any of these things, this is not someone who's answering the question the way we’re aligned to answer the question.” He provided an example of the kind of response that would disqualify a candidate, saying, “If the candidate or teacher is like, ‘Well, I want to make sure that [students] learn about conservative values,’ blah, blah, blah… that’s probably not what we are looking for.” -

Another sick fock who deflects from the problem. Is The Current American Political Culture Dominated By Pro-Trans Extremism?
Blue Horseshoe posted a topic in The Geek Club
‘What is a woman?’ exposes the lunacy of pro-trans extremism What is a woman?....Conservative writer Matt Walsh has produced a documentary with the question as its title, hoping to get to the bottom of it....The film is a cross between Michael Moore’s 1989 documentary “Roger & Me,” where the filmmaker pursued General Motor’s CEO Roger Smith....Except Walsh’s subjects haven’t been tricked into anything. They really believe what they are saying. Dr. Michelle Forcier, a dean at Brown University medical school, refuses to concede that there is such a thing as reality and ends up talking about suicidal chickens when Walsh asks her whether we are assigning a gender to a chicken laying an egg. She’s not alone. Walsh leaves medical professionals arguing that Santa Claus is real because he is real to children and that what we believe is true is true even when it’s not....One therapist in Tennessee argues that she can’t answer “what a woman” is because she’s not a woman. The twist is that she clearly is a woman. I asked Walsh how he got these people to talk to him on the record. He told me, “They didn’t expect to be challenged. It is inconceivable to them that anyone would expect real answers.” One of the few medical professionals in the film.... is Dr. Miriam Grossman. She believes that some number of the population is indeed gender dysphoric and transgender, putting that number in the “1 in 30,000-110,000 range” — and says it’s important to separate those people, who have genuine, deep discomfort with their bodies, from the recent spike in pubescent kids suddenly coming out as genderfluid or trans. It makes no statistical sense if your middle schooler has three or five or 10 friends who’ve suddenly become gender nonbinary. The numbers don’t add up. ....Many us are “live and let live,” believing there is indeed a tiny segment of the population who are transgender; we’d happily let adults live however makes them happy. But the current moment simply won’t allow for that. You will be made to care and conform. And if you don’t like leftist gender ideology pushed on children, you’ll be deemed a bigot. The Biden administration removed the word “mother” from health agency communications in favor of “birthing person.” Women are being erased from culture. Medical professionals won’t definitively answer what a woman is.... https://nypost.com/2022/06/12/what-is-a-woman-exposes-the-lunacy-of-pro-trans-extremism/ "You are all child abusers. You prey upon impressionable children and indoctrinate them into your insane ideological cult, a cult which holds many fanatical views but none so deranged as the idea that boys are girls and girls are boys. By imposing this vile nonsense on students to the point even of forcing young girls to share locker rooms with boys, you deprive these kids of safety, of privacy, and of something more fundamental, too, which is truth. If education is not grounded in truth, then it is worthless, worse, it is poison. You are poison. You are predators. I can see why you try to stop us from speaking, you know that your ideas are indefensible, you silence the opposing side because you have no argument. You can only hide under your beds like pathetic little gutless cowards, hoping that we will shut up and go away. But we won’t. I promise you that." –Matt Walsh, addressing the Loudoun County School Board in the documentary, What Is a Woman? ****** I believe the LGBT community in America is very broad and diverse. That includes the transgender community. I don't believe all within the LGBT community in total are seeking to behave in an "extremist" manner. And I don't believe the entire LGBT community seeks to indoctrinate children. But just because the entire community is not doing it, it doesn't mean a large cross section of the radical leftist extremist elements of the LGBT community is somehow absolved of their actions and behavior. Matt Walsh points out something both chilling and honest at the same time - Some of the largest proponents of what amounts to pro-trans extremism never expected to be publicly challenged at all. And thus have no answers to give. Dr. Miriam Grossman points out that the explosion of "trendy" converts into the LGBT community are likely drowning out those who are often silent and truly struggling because because they aren't the loudest, the most extreme and the ones most incentivized to create a personal brand, platform or monetize their role in the LGBT community. I started this thread to have a running archive of what I consider to be "pro-trans extremism" in the current American political, social, medical, educational and cultural climate. -
I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...
Maximum Overkill replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
Being trans is an illness has been more difficult to debunk because many trans people rely on the support of medical professionals for gender affirmation, which in the past has relied upon a diagnosis of a mental condition or disorder. This was in part due to miscategorisation by doctors, but also because statistics do show that trans and gender diverse people suffer other mental health concerns and symptoms at higher rates, including depression, anxiety, and suicidality, which we’ll talk more about below. The most recent update of the ICD has finally removed “gender identity disorder“, which was in the mental disorders section, and instead included “gender incongruence’ under the sexual health section, reflecting that for trans people who want to medically affirm their gender, it is an aspect of their health and wellbeing, and not in order to fix a disorder or mental illness. As this update is reflected in research and practice in the future, we look forward to a time when trans people are trusted to access care and affirmation without needing to seek a diagnosis, but simply because they want or need to affirm their gender -
This whole transgender thing needs to stop in this country.

Trans have zero to do with being gay. The gays are actual men and women who just like their own sex. Trans are men who want to be women and women who want to be men. Totally different. Not sure why they lump them together. The gays deserve better. -

Girls' track and field athletes don't stand on podium next to trans athlete at Oregon state championship

TB said trans stuff is a more impactful issue to women than abortion. How many women are directly impacted by trannies vs. abortion seemed like a logical question. -

TBayXXXVII replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
The trans movement, not just in sports, affects 100% of society. It directly impacts 100% of all women, disproportionately, on a daily basis. Abortion affects all women, though only during 15% of their lifetime... but that's potential, as the overwhelmingly vast majority of women in that age group aren't in the situation where it matters. -

TBayXXXVII replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
It does affect every woman. Any time a trans person is walking on the street, they can go into any bathroom, changing room, etc, that is afforded as a safe place for women. Schools and places of employment treat men as women, who claim they are, and that affects all women as well. It actually affects everyone, but predominantly women. Abortion only affects women in a certain age group. -

Girls' track and field athletes don't stand on podium next to trans athlete at Oregon state championship
MDC replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
Thanks for clarifying. Wouldn’t that only impact whoever lost a slot and anyone who competes with or against the trans athlete? Either way, I don’t see any way that affects “every” woman, TB’s claim. It doesn’t even affect every athlete in a given state. It definitely isn’t more impactful to women than abortion. -

In the state of Oregon, 100% of all female track athletes in high school, we're affected by a trans athlete. That’s just this particular case. It happened in Connecticut as well... and Maine (in fencing). Probably more leftist states as well. That's just 3 instances this year. LOL, and you're an idiot. They didn't say that 25% of women have had an abortion. They said that 13.7% have had an abortion by age 25... they "project", that by the age of 45, 25% could have one. Projections aren't facts, they're opinions. -
