Alyssa McPherson and Hadeel Hazameh of Jurupa Valley High School in Riverside County, California told Fox News Digital they will not play or use the locker room alongside the trans athlete. Both players sat out of the team's Thursday night game against Chaffey High School. "Deciding to sit out was a difficult decision to make because I love this sport and I love to compete, but this current situation with a biological male on the team is very unsafe and unfair not only for me, but all female athletes," McPherson said. Hazameh said she hopes her decision not to play will "encourage" others. "Although sitting out was a very difficult decision for me because of how much I love this sport, I don’t feel comfortable sharing the locker room nor the court with a biological male because I chose to play on a girls volleyball team, and it’s just unfair and unsafe to everyone being affected by this situation. I was scared to stand up before, but I realized someone must make the initiative to stand for what’s right, so I hope my actions encourage others to use their voice as well," Hazameh said. Not so long ago you took umbrage at me using the word Turnip instead of Trump. Your MSDNC slag is equally stupid and far more tired. What it sounds like you're saying here is that lefties just accept violence without consideration, and that trannies are so inherently violent and warped that they're more prone toward committing acts of violence. Which "the left" then effectively cheers on. Am I misinterpreting? Trans people are 4X more likely to be victimized violently than the average person. You're suggesting that these people WOULDN'T be positively influenced by less violence being perpetrated against them? Violence, I will add, that is much more likely to be committed by those of a certain political affiliation than others. To me, it seems for all the world that MAGA (and in this instance, that DOES include you) have no qualms with that violence, since these folks are just irreparably broken and societally dangerous. They have successfully been dehumanized and "othered" by this admin and it's adherents. We read as much every day here. Overwhelming support for taking away their healthcare, their ability to serve their country, to villainize and ostracize. It's gross.

I can’t speak for the medical community, but while they probably wouldn’t “encourage” it like some believe the community does for trans surgeries, I don’t think they would stop it. I’d look at it similar to a non-trans woman getting a breast reduction. edit: but please note that my prior posts in this convo said nothing about medically transitioning. -

I never said therapy wouldn’t help people or that at least some trans folks shouldn’t get therapy. My question is moreso: what would the end goal of the therapy be? I assume most here would say something along the lines of “for them to stop pretending they’re the opposite sex.” But I’m not sure that’s the correct answer. I agree there’s a social contagion factor. So yes, I think it’d be a good idea for everyone experiencing gender dysphoria to see a therapist when they first start having those feelings. And most likely some would realize they’re not actually trans. But that’s not always going to be the case. So for example, would you say someone that’s had gender dysphoria for 10+ years and is 25+ years old, and has no other “underlying issue,” should still see a therapist about the gender dysphoria? I’d say no. -

You're missing the point entirely. We don't hate trans people, we hate the fact that you celebrate them as if they've done something special. As if being Trans is a great accomplishment of some sort. -
I’m not really interested in responding to you but I do want to comment on this one point because you and others keep bringing it up. I know a LOT of liberals in real life. I don’t know a single one who is in favor of allowing transgenders to participate in girls athletics. Not one including myself. I think it’s stupid and I generally support trans issues. It’s just that none of us really care too much. You’re talking about .001% of athletes. It’s rarely decisive to outcome. And one a list of priorities to consider for an election, it’s at the bottom or, more likely not on the list. That it’s apparently pretty high for some of you is fascinating and, IMO, pretty pathetic. It is also very ironic since many of the people who dwell on this issue the most are the same dudes who denigrate girls sports at every opportunity and oppose Title IX. I should add that the leading candidate for the Democratic nominee for President in 2028, Gavin Newsom, also opposes this. So hopefully that will take it off the table.

The gun control argument is fair to debate, but I know what a man is and what a woman is. It's like that old saying not all fingers are thumbs but all thumbs are fingers. Not every person with mental illness is trans, but every trans person has some sort of mental issue. Choose not to believe it if you want to, and I know you won't because ideologically the left can't admit there's a problem. But it's a large part of why the Dems are losing elections in recent years. If they do retake the House, which they should, they may mistakenly believe that they can keep up this kooky ideological stuff. But the trend is going away from this nonsense. These people need help, they need people telling them the sky isn't purple, it's blue. When you allow delusions to continue, you're aiding and abetting the problem. -

Just a reminder , sometimes people get confused. The best way to figure out what gender a person actually is is too just take out trans and put in fake. As in trans - woman. That’s a fake woman. That has/ had pennis and a prostate. -

Trannies don’t bother me . I’m only against the kid indoctrination stuff. In fact as I said here and other places before my wife worked with a charity through large company she works for that was basically older teen trans runaways . When I tagged along with her I heard some horror stories of how some were outright rejected by family etc. Besides Little Lord Fauntleroy , aka squissy, I’m probably the most trans friendly person here. What I am very concerned with is the SSRIs being prescribed and how it effects some of them to act violently. don’t conflate immigration and illegal immigration and you really have a twisted and perverse idea of what MAGA is.
