Apu Nahasapeemapetilon 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Jason Campbell 6-4; 223 Damn right P26 No chance in hell we could have gotten a better player for the 22nd pick in this years draft. The Gibbs/Snyder haters can laugh at it all they want. Heck I was even shocked they did it. But looking at what's available at #22 this year, I'd say that was a brilliant move to get a starter for 2007-2008 and coach him up before he has to play. miket7 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Buffalo: Number 8 Not quite sure yet, but I'm thinking one of these three: - H. Ngata - M. Huff - W. Justice

Stars 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Buffalo: Number 8 Not quite sure yet, but I'm thinking one of these three: - H. Ngata - M. Huff - W. Justice Ngata seems the consensus lock for Buffalo. Although some now suggest that Bunkley is the pick. Either way, it looks like a DT - quality prospects available at the biggest need position. As a Miami fan, I know a number of players I'm hoping to fall - but I'm pretty sure none of them will. Would be delighted with Justice or Jimmy Williams. Gephardt69 0 Posted April 4, 2006 bears will probably draft marcus vick just to give a big middle finger to all the fans, but they won't get blasted as hard as the lions... you know matt millen is just itching to pick up santonio holmes!

Agreed, before Culpepper I would have said we're definately drafting the best QB that falls to us. But now.... I'm not sure what position the Dolphins will draft first. I'd guess maybe an O-lineman or a CB.

Quickolas1 80 Posted April 6, 2006 Buffalo 1.8 Winston Justice (who i think they'll pick, not who i want) i cant argue with this: D'Brick's company is Winston Justice (USC). He didn't run the 40 or hit the weightroom, but he did show off in the other events and drills. What a speciman this kid is. His vertical jump (35") was significantly superior to anyone else's. Is that important? You bet. It's a great measure of burst and leg power. He also excelled in the broad jump, the shuttle and the cone drill. He moves like a 320 pound running back, but he's more than just a freakish athlete. He's a solid technician in pass protection with a highly developed punch. His burst makes him potentially the most explosive run blocker in this excellent class. Like D'Brick, it's hard to find flaws in Justice. He was solid in the interviews, and the overhyped story of his off the field problems should be considered a non-issue. The media won't let it go, but I'm certain NFL execs have. I haven't missed a USC game since Carson Palmer was a junior, and it's Justice's body of work on the field that is most impressive. Some say he's been inconsistent. I'd like to know when, because I must have missed it. I have some difficulty ranking the tackles listed below, and without any disrespect to Ferguson, I'm having difficulty separating him from Justice. They are very similar. This isn't the place for a long breakdown of the two top tackles, but in my mind their potential is dead even. Justice is that good. I'm comfortable giving him the unusually high praise. i just hope larry tripplet can take on 3 lineman and a fullback by himself
swamp dog 0 Posted April 6, 2006 darkhorse pick for the lions: bunkley. he may be the bpa on the lions board at pick 9 and seems to fit marinelli's style pretty well. the lions have cody waiting in the wings but they may figure bunkley's simply too good to pass up. i also think sims is a marinelli kind of guy. that said, realistically it'll probably be huff, jimmy williams, or justice. i could live with any of those names i've listed. of course this is predicated on the draft going as expected and guys like hawk and mario being gone before the lions pick (as expected).
