ratbastard1 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm hoping for more genius moves fromthe Patriots braintrust tomorrow. Let's have some fun, gentlemen. PREDICTION: Mid to late round pick: STEVE GOTKOWSKI : K : Memphis Im thinking they use a 5th on this guy, if hes not there, they grab the other rook later. Speaking of the Memphis kid....did you see his approach to a kick? Its qick but kinda weird....do they all look weird coming out of college?
Raider 84 29 Posted April 29, 2006 There's a chance they get Walker. Then do they go rb in the draft or LB?
George Carlin 1 Posted April 29, 2006 There's a chance they get Walker. Then do they go rb in the draft or LB? If you mean Javon Walker, I doubt it. Although I'd love to see it. They will go with D with their 1st pick, but not sure where.
sky21 0 Posted April 29, 2006 1st round prediction: Chad Greenway LB Iowa
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Bobby Carpenter, OLB, The Ohio State ...and javon walker, pretty please?!
Ignignokt 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Bobby Carpenter, OLB, The Ohio State ...and javon walker, pretty please?! If the Pats wind up w/ those two?
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 If the Pats wind up w/ those two? I would cream my pants.
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 After seeing Bunkleys highlight film on NFL Network, I just saw a player I really, really hope the Pats pick up in the 3rd-4th...Pat Watkins, S, FSU...he is going to be a stud. That is all.
bigtuna 0 Posted April 29, 2006 i have the Pats pick: Nick Mangold OG/C Ohio St I am following my special Draft BAWG Chart BAWG = Best available White Guy Edit: now with Carpenter gone at 18...its a lock
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 There goes Carpenter They gotta move up and grab Justice now, he will be a steal like Wilfork was. I'm not excited about any of the DBs on the board right now.
ROCKET 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Here's to hoping Manny Lawson slides down 2 more picks . They also have their pick of wr's and rb's as of right now but KC/SD could change that by going wr
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Here we go... Manny Lawson
a1tele1 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Here we go... Manny Lawson I would prefer to see one of the WR's get drafted here.
lsk6453 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I would prefer to see one of the WR's get drafted here. Chad Jackson would look nice in Patriots colors. Any news on the rumored Lee Suggs trade?
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I would prefer to see one of the WR's get drafted here. Neither of those two are worthy of a first round pick. Especially if they have a chance at Walker.
TheJuice31 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm hoping Chad Jackson or even DeAngelo...
Ignignokt 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Neither of those two are worthy of a first round pick. Especially if they have a chance at Walker. Even if they don't get Walker.
jerryskids 5,295 Posted April 29, 2006 I predict... Chad Jackson.
devildog 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Wow, that was a shocker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fumbleweed 434 Posted April 29, 2006 Laurence Maroney..........solid pick.
lsk6453 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I am happy with this pick.. I wonder if this means Walker is closer to being a member of the Pats then we think?
Walter34 3 Posted April 29, 2006 So much for the Thomas Jones rumours ...
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I like the pick, I just wasn't expecting it at all. I was kinda hoping for Manny Lawson...we desperatly need someone in the LB position...we'll see what the rest of the day brings us.
devildog 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm happy with it too, just surprised. A lot of top scouts had Maroney ranked ahead of Williams.
devildog 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Think the Pats may have started a run. The RBs should start going in the next 8-10 picks.
Deadpool 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I think this pick would probably increase Maroney's dynasty value quite a bit.
lsk6453 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I bet we trade up from 51?
ROCKET 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I would have liked Lawson but am very happy with Maroney who I thought was the #2 rb in the draft. I'm very happy it wasn't D Williams.
TD Ryan2 315 Posted April 29, 2006 Wow, that was a shocker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WOW. unbelievable. I really don't know how I feel about the pick. It's exciting... but.... WOW. I'm very happy it wasn't D Williams.
Patriotica 5 Posted April 29, 2006 Now the Evans/Faulk/Cloud posse can be benched in favor of one solid RB who has youth and size. That being said, here'e hoping that marshall Dillon has another 16-game season in him so that Bill Belichik(sp?) doesn't have to pull his hair out wondering who he has to plug in each week. Ignignokt 0 Posted April 29, 2006 hoping that marshall Dillon has another 16-game season in him so that fantasy owners don't have to pull their hair out wondering who they have to plug in each week. Fixored.
JScott 20 Posted April 29, 2006 Let me add my WOW to the collection. Just walked off the course, logged in and BAM!!! RB at 21 holy sh!t. Never would have imagined. Can't say that I'm not happy, just stunned. And as a typical NE fan, I'm going to nit-pick... with Jackson, Maroney & Lawson on the board I hope the Pats at least made an attempt to trade down a few spots, where they still would have got a top player. Just a thought.
