GrassyKnollSniper 0 Posted October 12, 2006 If this game were played on Sunday afternoon I could see how Arizona might sneak up on the Bears. But not on Monday Night Football.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 12, 2006 Why the hell would I need attention on a fantasy football board. I been playing this damn game since you were shitting up you back on your mommas lap. So why respond to something if you think it was only for attention. In these type of topics you see peoples outlooks on things. I have been a football fan for well over 26 years now and have seen some suprising things over the years. The bears offense has to stall soon and what better game than Monday Night in Arizona. Thanks for the kind words. You've been a football fan for over 26 years. Big deal. I've been a football fan for over 30 years. Does that make me better than you? I've seen surprising things too but nothing surprising is going to happen on Monday night. The Bears will take care of business and this thread will be forgotten by Tuesday morning. Maybe someone bothers to call you on it Tuesday morning but then you'll either not bother to reply or you'll say something like, "Well of course, the Bears should win that game." Like I said before you wise old sage......
JT 137 Posted October 12, 2006 and by the way - leinhart wasn't the best qb in the draft. cutler was. Guy couldn't complete 60% of his passes in college. He's a workout wonder, a guy whose stock shot up because the NFL can't resist a good pro day or combine. Who knows, he may even become an NFL QB someday. But as a collegiate QB he couldn't carry Leinart's jock, and so far he hasn't shown enough to beat out Jake Plummer. Sorry. Not trying to hijack the thread. Just can't help myself when I read some of the statements here.

Triumph 0 Posted October 12, 2006 Like I said before Here is what will happen. Leinhart is a rookie. he will be forced out of the pocket and make mistakes. Bears will sack him 10 times, turn the ball over 5 and get 1 saftey. Chicago will have the ball most of the day (as usual) and put up 40 pts. The Cards maybe get a touchdown with second string D on the field in the 4th quarter with 3 min to go. Score: Bears 40 Cards 7 what you hope happens is what happend to the colts last week. Colts D isnt near the bears and Ten got lucky. Here is the last 5 weeks scores for the Bears @ GB 26-0 Shut out @ DET 37-7 1 TD @ MIN 19-16 Most points allowed this season @ SEA 37-6 Not 1 TD allowed against a Supperbowl QB. @ BUF 40-7 1 TD late in the 4th almost shut out. No way AZ wins. Stop getting your panties in a ruffle. As I said I am picking the Cardinals to win this game so if the Bears win big deal I lose. So all I said in this topic was my prediction everything else said was the bandwagon loving bears fans or real football fans with insight. One thing it's always easy to pick the favorites and dog somoeone who picks an underdog before the game. At least this thread is better than the same old T.O threads that seem to pop up daily. For the record, I am not a Bears fan. I llike them this year, and think they will take it to the Super Bowl. Plus i have Grossman. HAHAAA!

RamslovaMartzhata 3 Posted October 12, 2006 On any given Sunday any team can beat any team But this game is on Monday That being said, I would have given the Cards a better chance of winning than Tennessee vs the Colts last week... and (maybe one or two) stranger things have happened before. It is a BIG deal, you are putting your reputation on the line here. Anyone can make bold predictions, but can you make smart ones?????? I am not dogging you for picking the Cards (it aint going to happen) but after the game be man enought to admit that you made a terrible pick, and your football knowledge is all that great. BTW -- Bears fans are some of the most loyal fans in the game, we have stuck by our team for several below average years, and we still sell out our stadium and Uralcher jerseys are still #1 in sales year after year. You obviously have no clue about our fandom so stop saying stupid things.

Once again like I care what you people think of my pick. I made it and I stand by it. If the Cardinals win or lose I could care less I just made a pick and gonna stand by it. I never said anything about true Bears fans. I was referring to the fair weather fans that seem to pop up every year. Also I will not admit I made a terrible pick if they lose I will say my pick lost and thats the end of it, however if the Cards win i will say what a pick and that will be the end of it. OH YEAH A TRUE BEARS FAN WOULD BE ABLE TO SPELL THEIR #1 JERSEYS SELLERS NAME RIGHT. So stop spelling stupid things Yeah, some of the most loyal fans in the league are real bandwagon hoppers. Stop making yourself look like a bigger idiot than your prediction already does. You obviously don't understand how to comprehend things correctly. Where does it say anything about real bears fans. I said the bandwagon bears fans would you like a definition. You know kinda like all those fake steelers fans wearing a big ben jersey that by now is rotting in their closet and now they need another good team to root for such as the Bears. Also now I'm an idiot for a prediction I guess you have never made one in your life that a team was a big underdog.

Dont_Fook_Wit_me 0 Posted October 16, 2006 The ONLY thing that i can think of that can go against the bears is their HORRIBLE monday night football record........But what will really work for us, if u can remember in the preseason game Rex Grossman damn near got booed off the feild......Rex will have that in the back of his mind, and look for revenge. Arizona will get some yards and 1 score from boildin(i need 10 points from him to win lol).......but i predict the score to look like this 27-10 bears 3 TD one will be rush and 2 Via pass, including a deep TD pass and 1 FG arizona will come close a few times, but our defense is STELLER in the red zone. and they will come out with 1 a FG and one deep garbage TD tword end to boildin. chiz3 1 Posted October 16, 2006 This may sound a little wierd but. I was at a party on Sat. There was a lady there(late-mid 40's) who claimed to be pyschic(that speeling doesnt look right???) we asked her about the USC game, she asked what the points were(19) and she said definatly take the 19. Of course I had USC already. 28-21 Then she said out of the clear blue. Whoever the Bears play this week will beat them. I probably will stay away from it myself, but a little help "from beyond". jerryskids 6,827 Posted October 16, 2006 I'm an AZ homer so I'd like to think they have a chance. The only positive is that the past four games, the Cards have held some pretty good RBs in check (SA, Jackson, Dunn, LJ). So maybe they hold Jones/Benson in check and keep it close? Even so, they'll find a way to lose. I'm just hoping it is close and interesting. On a side note, I've got Jones going tonight and need him to outscore Boldin by 6. So it is kinda a win-win for me. GettnHuge 2 Posted October 16, 2006 Matt Lienart will show whay he should have been a top five pick. Final score Arizona 20 Chicago 13.Also Grossman comes off of his early season high and has a bad game. Did you see Leinart with the cancer kid? I bet he guaranteed a victory! He's gonna do it for little jimmy davidson! and maybe for little Timmy Kelly who was chased out of town by goon Philthydelphia fans.
Justy2 0 Posted October 17, 2006 They won't win, but they could make it a close one a la week 3 @ MIN. I was hoping that someone would bring this up. The Bears weren't all that great in that game. They were just the better team. They're not the 86 Bears. The Bears certainly are the favorites but I wouldn't rule out any team, except Oakland there not really a team. GiantsRule 0 Posted October 17, 2006 you heard it here first: grossman could miss the plane and the bears still win by 10 on defense alone. and by the way - leinhart wasn't the best qb in the draft. cutler was. not that you said he was, but just as a side note. An additional sidenote: You're insane to buy the Cutler hype. Leinart is 10X the QB that kid is.
