pee-diddy 27 Posted June 6, 2007 Moss is gone Culpepper could be mentor to J. Russell No other serviceable QB on that roster (Andrew Walters?) Al Davis likes to pull the trigger on attention-grabbing trades Is this a possible scenario? (Culpepper to OAK)

Vikings4ever 496 Posted June 6, 2007 i bet the bears go for him and if they do..it could work out.... Nah, the Bears need a QB who is solid, if unspectacular. A QB who can move the chains, not throw INTs, even if he doesn't throw the deep ball much. A QB who lets the defense kickass, and not put them in bad situations. Daunte is completely the opposite. He is either kickass, or god awful.

pee-diddy 27 Posted June 6, 2007 Yeah if his knee is as bad as it very well may be... then yes, he deserves to be forked. I really hope McNabb is not on a similar career path. Ouch.
Voice_Of_Reason 0 Posted June 7, 2007 I would think Atlanta would be interested at this point. Vick could be suspended, Shaub was traded, perhaps they get Culpooper to help run the dog fight..errr...Falcons out for a bit.

DaveJ 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Raiders won't sign him.... they are happy with McGown, JR and Walter. I can see Ravens or Atlanta making a run for him as backup. That will be his place until he proves he can play again at the same level. I am just surprised that Miami had a vet with injury and went out and traded for another older vet with cobweb in his cranium. Cobwebs in the knee.... or the head..... either is not a good choice. softball 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Moss is gone Culpepper could be mentor to J. Russell No other serviceable QB on that roster (Andrew Walters?) Al Davis likes to pull the trigger on attention-grabbing trades Is this a possible scenario? (Culpepper to OAK) Why is it attention grabbing? Culpepper hasn't played football in 1.5 seasons since the knee injury. Looking back at him he hasn't performed well since 2004. A two season break from football is NOT a good thing for a QB. I think people just overvalue his name too much. 3'
Toltec 0 Posted August 1, 2007 As a Raiders fan, even with Aaron Brooks in the rearview am completely mystified at the Oakland FO... seriously. How much crack do you smoke over there?

shovelheadt 62 Posted August 1, 2007 As a Raiders fan, even with Aaron Brooks in the rearview am completely mystified at the Oakland FO... seriously. How much crack do you smoke over there? What bothers you so much about it. With Russel still holding out, you've got nobody on that team with any sustained experience or success. So if it's a palatable contract, why not see if he can rekindle some old spark?
