The day Bush leaves office will be a great day for America even if it's a convictionless chameleon like Romney. After 8 years of Bush, I've found new respect for all our other 42 presidents. Fock when the turball leaves office, it'll be like an eight year dark evil cloud has been lifted on the planet. It may be worth celebrating by changing the calandar to Year One (OK maybe that's going too far- but maybe Prince can write a song 'Party Like It's 2009' or something). I think with Guiliani, McCain, Paul, Obama, and Edwards you can pretty much bank on what they're saying they'll do and what they actually do as being really close. My hatred towards Bush Republicans eclipses everything at the national level. Conversely, I was happy the GOP held the Michigan Senate. It's paying off now, like the state economy isn't in the crapper enough if Jen Jen was left unchecked. Divided government brings everybody to the middle. And that's where everybody gets a seat at the table and extremists are put aside. I'm a fan. Since I think the Dems will hold Congress, especially the Senate, I'd rather have a Republican president.
