I listen to Mike & Mike in between Opie & Anthony commercial breaks. I enjoy their banter and chemistry, but they have the most annoying teasers on the planet. And it doesn't ever work because I always tune back to my original show before they get to it.

Mike and Mike are great announcers, if it was Theismann and Kornheiser etc I would have turned this game off already..... also nice to have a lineman in the booth explaining what is actually going on. Nice refresher from the losers ESPN usually has up there.

Take some old audio recordings of Howard Cosell, and play them at 3x speed. That's Greenturd.

I don't know, I found the three Mike's a little entertaining.

 

Greensie was pretty irritating with his play by play and "witty" jokes, and then you'd have Mike Golic and Ditka pretty much agreeing with every football aspect on the planet.

 

But they can't be as bad as having freaking Tony Kornheiser in the booth, one of the most corny irritating people on that planet. Then you put in Mike Tirico who has no idea about what he is talking about EVER.

 

Then you get an ESPN team that makes you want to watch the game in silence.

I didn't stay up to watch the game, so i can't say if they're any good as announcers. I caught them for a few minutes one time doing an arena game, and I thought they were fine. But I'll reserve judgement on that.

 

I am a fan of their TV/radio show, though. I watch for a half hour every morning before waking the kids up. I think they work well together.

The old Sunday night crew was the worst. Patrick was alright, but Maguire and Thiesman were horrible. I'd throw in Maas too. Guy's an idiot. Nobody on TV right now is as bad as these guys (I don't have NFL Network so I don't know how bad Gumble really is). How much do you guys really like watching football if the commentators annoy you that much? I really could care less who calls the game. It's football, so that means it's better than 99.99% of anything else on TV. Man, if it's that excruciating to watch, hand the remote over to your special lady and listen to the soothing sounds of HGTV.
