Can't WAIT

Recommended Posts

Damn, Thank God for the Pats/Colts game. My Texdones haven't been giving me much to be excited about on Sundays & My Broncos ain't making me very happy either. I haven't been this excited for a Sunday since opening week.

Honestly, I think this game's gonig to look a lot like the AFC Championship game when Pittsburgh rattled this chit out of Manning. In fact, I'm sure Belicheat is all over that film. I'm rooting for the Colts, but I'm thinking the Pat's LB's will make all the difference. Adalius Thomas is probably the most under-rated offseason move in the entire NFL. Everybody's talking about Moss, but Thomas was a huge addition - Pretty much the difference between the Pats of last year and the Pats of now.

Regardless, I just can't wait for Sunday. Since the geniuses at CBS are showing the Texans/Oak.. :bandana: - Sorry, that game induces instant narcolepsy - I'll have to go out to a sports bar. All the bars in town will be crazy-rocking. The bar I'll probably go to also is home to a bunch of dislocated Buffalonians. Dunno why we have so many people from Buffalo here in town. (Uh, the WEATHER? - And the BOREDOM maybe?)

Anyhoo - These Buffalo fans are pretty raucous. They cheer for every forking thing. 1st down? HOORAY!! 3 yard run? HOORAY!! Doesn't matter if they're down by 30 points, they still cheer like they just won the Super Bowl. And, they're pretty cool about it. They love their team but they're not obnoxious about it. And, they just remodeled the bar, so the Bafflodians will have their own room so as not to annoy the rest of us.

Giant 56-inch plasmas all over the place. Patio. Great food. 7-count drinks (well, for me at least). Stumbling distance home. Is definitely gonna be a good time.

So, 4 days before the game, when I should be working, I'm day-dreaming about the best game of the year and where I'm gonna watch it. Love the NFL.

Going to the BC/FSU game on Saturday night. I will lick my wounds on Sunday morning and will get right back on the horse for the 4:15 game. Who is playing, again?

It occured to me last night at work that the local Toledo, OH station will likely be broadcasting the riveting Seahawks/Browns game at 4:05 on Sunday....what a joy! :bandana:

I agree that it will look a lot like the AFC Championship game, except this time half of the Pats defense will not be on the bench when the Colts offense is on the field and the Moss will not commit the back breaking drops Caldwell did.

I think the Patriots will win by about 10 with the total points between the two teams being over 65.

Part of me is hoping for a close, competitive game that comes down to who has the ball last.

Another part of me wants to see the Colts blow the Patriots off the field, as I can't stand all the arrogant Patriot fans on the mange board.

There is no part of me that wants to see the Patriots win big.

In Columbus the Browns game is being shown on FOX as the NFC game. The Pats and Colts are going to be on CBS here.

I'm putting it at Patriots 27 Colts 17. I think the defenses will make a greater impact than we think.

Although a 38-34 shootout to the end would be pretty sweet too.

I'm with you on this one. I believe that it will be at least a 10+ point Pats win.

I do expect more scoring from the Pats, though. (preferably to Mr. Welker) <_<
