gratefulted 14 Posted March 9, 2008 That is kind of the dilemma. One guy was 10 minutes faster to take it, the other guy is the returning owner of UCLA from last year. If nothing happens in the next few day I will have to give it to the one who claimed first. I've already let Black Clouds know he can have them since I had them last year. ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 9, 2008 I've already let Black Clouds know he can have them since I had them last year. Alright, glad the two of you were able to settle it yourselves, and of course you are welcome to take any of the other remaining teams should you feel like it. cmh6476 1,025 Posted March 9, 2008 I'll take K-State... surely they won't leave the best college basketball player in the country out of the tournament. you going to switch to Mizzou if they win the tourney?
Mike FF Today 726 Posted March 9, 2008 you going to switch to Mizzou if they win the tourney? Â Yeah I would, but I have a better chance with Maria Menenous than MU has of winning the BIG tournament.
Mike FF Today 726 Posted March 9, 2008 Just thinking out loud here, but I'd be willing to take all the teams seeded 14 or higher that aren't selected. If my teams win, whoever I'm playing against wouldn't have to send me anything (except for K-State). If my teams lose, then I'd send an FF Today T-shirt to the winner. Would that work? cmh6476 1,025 Posted March 9, 2008 sounds like a sweet deal. Only thing that might get in the way is if someone gradeated from one of the mid-majors, took them and they end up seeded a 14 or higher. Then we might just default to the original participant, and let you do the fft shirt for the others
cmh6476 1,025 Posted March 9, 2008 also, can't wait to get my shirt after No. 1 KU kicks the crap out of some no-name school. This might also encourage others to sign-up...
Mike FF Today 726 Posted March 9, 2008 I probably didn't make myself clear. I would only take teams that ARE NOT seeded #15 or #16.... in other words any team not selected and seeded 1-14, would full into the FF Today T-shirt category. Does that make sense?
Toro 1 Posted March 9, 2008 FF Today T-shirt  Seriously, when are you going to make these public? I'd buy one...

cmh6476 1,025 Posted March 9, 2008 well, and you might consider whether you're doing that for the course of the tourney, or just the 1st and 2n round, or maybe sweet 16 and beyond or something. Could potentially be a lot of shirts, something to think about. We'll run this through the course of the tourney, so anytime two teams that are represented hookup, the winner gets a cap from the losah

Chronic Husker 85 Posted March 14, 2008 Still several big name teams available. From Joe Lunardi's bracket projections the following teams are up for grabs (listed by seed):4 seed: Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame Based on Mike's interest in taking every team not ranked #14-16, it would look like these are the teams to wager on if you want an fftoday shirt. Â Mike's leveraging his knowledge that teams from Indiana are the suxor to drum up interest in this contest. Â Â (Plus, he prolly has a boxload of crapass shirts sitting in his closet he bought for $2 a piece he has no idea what to do with.)
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 15, 2008 Can we take more than one team? If so, i will take Georgetown to go with the rapidly sinking Michigan State Spartans Interesting question. I suppose we can allow it, just as long as reliable people are the ones taking a second team (and I definitely cap it at two teams) so we can avoid multiple people getting screwed if one person chooses to pull a QLazz. Â I'm taking Clemson as my second. If there is anyone who does not yet have a team and wants to take Clemson, just post your entry here and I will give them to you. Mike FF Today 726 Posted March 16, 2008 Keeping with the Big 12 theme... If K-State doesn't make it, I will take Oklahoma first or Baylor second (assuming nobody else wants them)... surely one of those three will make it.

No one has claimed Marquette and we are under an hour left. If you want them as your second just say so and its yours.  On a side note, I usually use Ebay for this (not many other ways to get a Gonzaga hat in Michigan).
