Is Obama proud to be an american ?

Recommended Posts

:dunno: I think that should be a prereq to being POTUS - don't you ?

hands down

Michele Obama

“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today, “because it feels like hope is making a comeback.”

Meaning that The first time she has been proud to be an american was when her Husband decided to run. makes sense and falls directly in line with ole reverend wright !

Rev Wright : a Known Anti - American bigot - fock go to youtube type his name and listen for yourself. This is a person that for 20 years Obama has thought of as Mentor and father like figure in his life - as well as a key adviser. So you do not think Rev.. Wright has shaped Obama's thoughts on things ?

Look his speechs really grab you and make you think this guy really gives a fock and might actually make a change for the better -- but looks at his deeds and words of the ones closest to him anb you really gotta wonder about that.

sorry I noticed there was only 1999999999 Obama threads and thought I need to make it a even 2000000000.

no, i don't think he is. 20 years in the church and it's clear that those "fiery sermons" rubbed off on his wife and there's noway they've had no affect on obama himself. his wife and the american flag thing are just 2 examples of this.

How could he possibly be proud of a country that deliberately created cracks and AIDS specifically for the Black man? How can he be proud of a country that forced the black man to ingest the crack, to have unprotected, irresponsible sex? How can he be proud of a country that supports the zionists Jews and thier illegal occupation of the oppressed Palestinians? *

How could he be proud of "the US of KKK-A"?*

How could he proud of a country that "nuked far more than the few thousand killed on 9/11 - and we never batted an eye"? *

"No No Not God Bless America, God DAMN America!"*

*All statements made by the man that BO claims shaped his vision and values. The man he respects more than any man in his life.

- But of course, in 20 years of attendance, every time his pastor said something that might offend white people, BO was out back smoking a cigarette.

I can't wait to see the commercials if Obama gets the nomination:

First screen: A picture of McCain smiling with Proud to be an American playing in the back ground.

Second screen: A picture of Obama smiling with NOT GOD BLESS AMERICA....GOD DAMN AMERICA playing in the back ground.

Third screen: America you Decide who should be POTUS.

Yeah, I have that type of family too.

But you forwarding that to them, surely won't change their mind. They made their mind up a long time ago, and probably could care less what the truth is - they would just rather not like him.

It's sad.. I've tried to educate countless amounts of people about him, but they would just rather waste their energy hating someone, that they know nothing about.

But like I've said before, the people that believe that garbage, and the people that send that stuff out - weren't going to vote for him no matter what. So they really don't matter. It's just really sad that people can be so close minded about a person, just because the color of his skin.

You would think after these past 7 horrible years, most people would actually want to experience someone new, someone that could change the way that the American public usually thinks, but I guess not. I guess people are just that scared of the unknown, even though that plays right into the hand of the people responsible for these last 7 awful years.

You guys are way off, this sissy boy opened my eyes to Obama.

I now have hope, you could too if you just believe in hope.

I'm probably the most patriotic person that I know, and there have been many times, particularly in the last 7 years, when I haven't been too proud of America. That makes me less viable as a political candidate, if I were to so choose?

I know that it does, because this country's stupid........but it shouldn't.

i disagree, if this country was so stupid, than how did it come up with such a great plan to invent the AIDS and crack to kill the black man? that's pretty ingenious, if you ask me.

Well, apparently, according to BO's top advisor, if BO becomes President, then the Evil White Debbils who have been forcing crack and irresponsible secks upon the poor Negroes will lose their jobs. Apparently, the minute BO becomes President, he'll repeal that cruel 3-strikes law that the white man inventored to imprison the black man. Of course, it won't be necessary anymore, because when BO is President, Black people won't be forced to take drugs, commit crimes, or have millions of illigitimate children to repeat the cycle or crime, drug use and irresponsibility.

And that's something to hope for.

You're judging a man on what his WIFE thinks?

Since when do men EVER agree with their wives on anything?

:ninja: I think that should be a prereq to being POTUS - don't you ?

Why? I would think having a president who is a good thinker would be more important. Unthinking Patriotic Fervor got us into a meaningless war in Iraq. a smarter president would have thought things out a little more and would have gathered more intelligence.

McCain has some marriage infidelties that are certain to pop up during the election. Especially the one with the lobbyist.

Yeah, 12+ years of Hussein ignoring what he himself agreed to wasn't nearly enough.

Obviously it was'nt enough intelligence because it was totally wrong. Unless you think Bush just lied to us.

Partly true. However, I for one don't want the closest person to the POTUS to be anything like Obama's wife. She has influence on him and to think that a hateful radical racist has the ear of the POTUS every night is down right scary.

Why couldn't we have both for a change ? McCain while not exactly a Rhodes scholar is a Rocket scientist next to Bush ! Most people even republicans now agree Iraq was stupid ! Hell Colin Powell knew it and he was Bush's right hand man. Bush went in becasue of the attack on his father and a chance to finish what his father started and was smart enough NOT to continue.

To be honest I like Obama and the whole JFL kinda feel his campaign has - what I don't like is his involvement with a controversial black church for 20 years. An I am afraid if elected all the things Rev Wright was saying and Obama has played off or denied will start to move the forefront of his presidential initiatives . With McCain we know what we are getting - a better / less special interest driven / less GOP loyal / / more free thinking / more experienced version of Bush.

right now the only real ticket I would have confidence in is McCain / Bloomberg - But it doesn't look like McCain will choose him or even could get him if he wanted to.

That was proven ... I thought the NY Times priented a appology for that becasue they had absolutley nothing hard linking them ? Now you can say he left his wife for a newer version but thats pretty much it in morality area at least right now.

radical is dangerous... radical left, radical right, whatever.

McCain is a safe candidate. Maybe not perfect. But certainly better than what we currently have and certainly less likely to be a radical whack job than Obama or Hillary.

okay I conceed maybe not - but you think we are better off how it is now ?

spending billions a month , losing thousands of american lives , and will likely end up with a country in league with Iran making it maybe even worse for us at least than it was before.

ETA : Look if the war was winable and in a few years Iraq would become an ally of ours in that region then YES I conceed your point we are better off. I just think only a fool would really think that ends up happening.

Yeah, I dunno about that. The dude had no WMD's, he was overflighted, inspected and embargoed up the wazoo. Seems like the policy Clinton was following: Push the UN for more and more sanctions, isolate the guy, bomb the flock outta him every time he f'ed up, wasn't such a bad thing compared to what we have now.

Not to mention, AQ has a brand new playground - one that they didn't have - because they were scared shiitless of Saddam - before we invaded. Not sure how that makes us better off.

You really think Hillary would be a radical TD?

I don't much like her but I don't see her as radical, just the opposite really. I think she lacks any defining principles; she's a politician clear to the focking bone.

That is true Hussien was no friend to terrorist - sure he gave money to the sucide bombers in Israel - that was more to boost his rept in the region as all the Arab states hate Israel. Make no mistake Sadaam was muslim when it suited him politically he hardly lived that lifestyle. He saw them as a threat more than an ally.

ETA - not trying to make Sadaam out to be a good guy - he was an evil POS -- but just one of many in the world - are we going to invade every country with a evil dictator ?
